OMG this was soooo good! I’m even more excited that I found out there is a sequel movie! I usually can’t stand Japanese dramas, but this is definitely my favorite Japanese drama by far. I can’t believe that this hasn’t made it to more watchers or discussion groups and so glad youtube recommended it for me.
The emotions and acting were so good and spot on for Japanese culture! Made me miss walking out to Enoshima...also I’m going to look up that legend, because I had never heard that legend of Enoshima before.
I really really wanted to like this because the story is beautiful and the novel is good. That being said, they really butchered this and it was my biggest letdown in at least a year... I don’t care for Earth, but I think his acting was WAY better in this compared to his previous role. It would be interesting to see if they do teamwin’s story in a series...maybe they could redeem themselves!

This is hands-down the worst HIStory series. I’ve been following all of the HIStory series since they first started and have always truly enjoyed them...until now. I have been trying to watch it since it came out in October and I just now finished it today. For multiple reasons I was going to give it a 6 tops, but the last two episodes really saved the show for me. I will give it a 7, however, I kind of feel like even that is a stretch. Hope they get their act together for the next series and release boundary crossing 2 soon!
Wow! The acting and emotion in this was so real... not only was the movie about method acting, but the actors actually aced method acting in their roles. Solid 8 for acting and creativity.
I of course enjoyed this series, as it was great to experience the story again. I noticed subtle differences from the original version, but they could also just be things I missed. In a couple months I will rewatch the original - can’t wait!
My only complaints are that too many important parts and information were left out. I hope nobody only watches this version..watch the original first!!!
