The “mama/papa” bullshit was less cute couple banter and more kindergarten roleplay, built entirely on convenience and bad screenwriting. It didn’t make me swoon, it made me question if love should even exist. 🤢

By the end of Episode 1, I wasn’t just cringing.
I was grieving.
Grieving for BL, for storytelling, for the poor actors who had to deliver those lines with a straight face, and for myself who sat through it hoping “maybe it gets better.”

Spoiler: It did not.

In episode 18, Sang Yan asking Wen Yifan to come home and bring an apple for him actually has an underlying meaning.🍎…
this is beautiful, thanks for sharing. It's a pity so much beautiful information gets shared on X, the most vile and toxic social platform out there, run on hatred and owned by one of the most problematic people on the planet. it blows my mind how fans and actors still use the platform. Hope there are others, like MDL rather, where more of these kinds of posts can be shared.

Another Oxin crap. This dude and his company makes really crappy BLs. Its more like a joke on gay people. Geez,…
Agreed. This is top-tier trash. It's like every Oxin show is getting worse.

I've binged this for a second time over the weekend, and despite the slightly rushed end, this remains a poetic masterpiece. I just love every second of it. The chemistry is off the chart, and the way that Phi Mhok looks at Day in almost every interaction is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. This is such a special show, and hopefully it will resonate with a lot of future viewers.

I haven't been this excited about a Thai drama since god knows when. I am beyond ecstatic about this one - 2 episodes in and the moments of art are absolute magic. The acting is sensual, sincere, and deeply intense. Seeing this side of Boom is incredible, as he is getting the credit he deserves and more so, the opportunity to make himself shine! I'm saying all of this in light of the trainwreck and, in my personal opinion, the worst BL to have ever seen the light of day, namely Chains of Heart. I get really upset just thinking how he and the other fellow actors got royally screwed over with that mess of a show. Top Form might just turn out to be one of the best BL series of the year.

Now THIS is what you called Boys Love! Beautiful, simple story and chemistry, and no awkward kissing scenes. Also, lots of kissing! Thai BLs remain light years away from the quality and sincerity of Taiwanese and Korean BLs. Just my opinion, don’t come for me.

I've shared the following on a forum, but wanted to share it here as well to get some feedback and to see if people agree. Please understand that I am not suggesting my views are correct and justified. Healthy discussions help to educate, and this is my aim as I like to learn from others:

Something that’s been weighing heavily on my mind is how we as BL supporters and actors specifically, but decent people as a whole, still support X/Twitter. I know I might get a lot of flack and hate comments for this post, but I am ready for open and logical debate.

I believe that as members of the BL community, we hold a responsibility to champion ethical and moral standards—not just in the stories we celebrate, but in the actions we take. This brings me to a growing concern: the continued use of X within our community, including BL actors, despite the platform’s trajectory under Elon Musk’s ownership.

Since Musk’s takeover, X has devolved into a breeding ground for disinformation, propaganda, and hate. More troublingly, during Trump's inauguration this week, Musk shockingly performed a Nazi salute—not once, but twice. This is not just deeply offensive; it is an affront to the principles of equality, justice, and human dignity that many of us hold dear.

By continuing to support X as a platform, even passively, we may inadvertently condone these actions and the toxic environment it fosters. So I ask: What does our engagement with such a platform say about our values? How do we reconcile supporting artists and creators who actively use a space that perpetuates harm, whether through misinformation or actions that flirt with fascist ideology?

This isn’t about cancelling individuals but about initiating a deeper conversation on accountability, ethics, and the influence we hold as a community. I encourage us all to reflect on the moral implications of our online choices, the platforms we engage with, and the messages our participation sends.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and continuing this critical dialogue.

I love the bench scene so much lmao. Book definitely lifts up the mood after such heartbreaking scenes.
Very much! I can easily rewatch this episode another 10 times :)

It's called hom/hawm (sniff kiss). it's a thai thing. Hom as an adjective means good smell I think, and as a verb…
Thannks for educating the masses - this is a constant talking point on so many forums, and then people get pissed off because of the 'fake kisses' which they are not. Learn about cultures and customs, don't just focus on swearwords... jeez!
