I thought about why Jack agreed to the deal so quickly. And I think what he said in the stairwell was very telling: it's enough for him if just one of them has a happy life with a decent job. As long as Joke is doing well, he is content and can forego his own happiness. I guess he just totally accepted his fate, which makes sense - since he was young, he was used to living a repressed life because of others. (Although he wasn't even legally obligated to pay off the debt, but we all know the boss's business is anything but legal.) Now he's sacrificing his future for his grandma. It's the same concept of putting yourself last.
Another idea was why he didn't just agree with the boss but secretly kept in touch with Joke. But then again, that guy has his informants everywhere, like Save, so things wouldn't go well in the long run. And more importantly, Jack is such a stupidly honest and correct person to the point where it becomes his weakness. He couldn't even accept his ring, even though it was originally his own property that was stolen from him! I think anyone else would have thought it only fair to steal it back. So after agreeing to do everything the boss tells him, he will obviously keep his word.
From this perspective, his behavior is completely reasonable and consistent with his character... I don't hate angst as such in a series, but I hope episode 8 will make up for it.
As much as I like Joe I had to drop this for now... There's nothing they could do to make me stop hating Ming, not matter his redemption arc. I just can't stand him and I have a gut feeling that they're going to get together again in the end. So I might just wait for the series to finish airing and then spoil myself to see how it ends
Yes they have been a ghost ship since starring in the series Last Twilight together (although they were not paired…
True true sometimes that's just how it is I'm glad you like it 🙌 let's meet again in this comments section at the end of the year and discuss the series once it finally airs

P'Aof is always the best but I don't think he'll be the director of this series... he seemed somehow involved in the preparations, though I'm not that up to date, my social media algorithms are just really good at suggesting things I like to watch 😂 I got the information here https://www.instagram.com/reel/C63OqA-MCmQ/?igsh=MWF3NzM3bjh6eGpqYw==

Yes haha I don't think August was anyone's favorite character, but he was definitely not an easy role to play. So I was already impressed with Ohm's acting and I think with even more experience he will soon be on par with Mark who is a very good actor as we know They really fit together and according to P'Aof they chose each other to be partnered with, which is very sweet. I'm also adding this ship to my favorite's list, now all that's left is to hope for a good script for the series...

😊 some moments that come to mind would be Mark wearing Ohm's "August" headband for the GMMTV Starlympics, them constantly joining each other's live streams on Instagram, doing tiktoks together and of course the Last Twilight stage concert where they slow danced
A pair I never imagine but turns out to look SOOOO good, GMMTV sure surpirse me! I'm curious to know if MarkOhm…

The series will have 12 episodes, right? Then I'm guessing there might be close to 30 Qs (since it's usually around…
No no I meant Qs (filming days) which are not filmed in the order of the episodes but instead based on locations. They will probably start editing afterwards
Agree with most of the posters here. Nearly perfect until Ep 10. Then, starting with the most awkward break-up…
I actually thought how brilliantly the entire previous episodes set up the conflict: Day wanted to be treated on the same level from day one (didn't like the other caretaker applicants in episode 1, was upset because August kissed him in episode 6, and so on) and Mhok's trauma was also introduced at the very beginning of the series (plus its severity was further demonstrated in episode 2, in which he barges into Day's room for not answering him). And in episode 11, this was emphasized again in the lead-up to the breakup: Mhok having a nightmare, being frantically worried about Day's safety twice, and Day winning a money garland out of pity. Although it did occur in episode 11 as per tradition, the conflict wasn't just a superficially made up reason to fulfill the curse but instead so in line with both of the characters and made so much sense that I could completely understand it.
But I agree that episode 12 certainly had some weak points...
after mhok confessed to day and day said he was not his type i felt like they kinda rushed it to day catching…
I feel like Day has a tendency for his brain to be faster than his heart. After the kiss (and Mhok's request in the last episode to get back together), he quickly says no because rationally that makes sense to him. He doesn't see an ex-convict ex-smoker technician bad boy as an ideal boyfriend (and he doesn't want to get hurt again by giving him a second chance), so he answers like this... It just takes a little longer for him to actually recognizes where his feelings are and what his heart really wants. So in both scenes he was actually very much in love with Mhok, he just wasn't listening to his heart (yet).

This is a channel with lots of shorts about them (but you could also search for the hashtag on Instagram): https://youtube.com/@markohmpk?si=ilzLU21JWLRj3kaO
