arghh i thought this will be the continuation of gokusen 1 (coz im actually hoping for shinkumi's love story development…
It's pretty repetitive imo, since the subsequent seasons aren't continuations at all but basically a copy and paste. It's still slightly different in the way the power dynamic of the class is different in every season - aka Shin as class leader in s1
Honestly would've loved some continuity between s1 and 2, even without the whole Shin issue, it would've been nice if she could at least continue teaching at Shirokin given the whole drama in the very last episode of s1 with everyone getting her to stay there .. and some more cameos of her old students would be fun too, glad that we got Kuma at least
GAWWDDD!! What a MASTERPIECE. I feel so sad about how much I am gonna miss these characters. Much love & respect…
It really is a superb series!! It might be a bit low quality, a bit repetitive, but it doesn't fail to make me cry everytime, it's just so emotional sometimes!
For someone whose life has been frequently threatened and put in danger, I'm surprised and quite mad at how unaware the teacher is of her surroundings when she's out on the streets ..
To teach in a school full of ruthles gangsters, one would think she would immediately try and pick up some self defence skills, but nooo, she does none of the sort. Girlie should maybe take a page out of Yankumi's book to at least protect herself in all the dangerous situations she puts herself into
Don't understand the hate in the comments...I've seen some people compare it to anime, like that's something bad?!…
I actually was just gonna come here and comment that this gives off major anime vibes, but I never thought this was something negative, didn't know some people might even think this in a negative way too. I love anime and I love fight scenes, this series has some great fight choreography and anime-style inhumane fighting power, and I absolutely love it! It's so fun to watch!
I think people are expecting some kind of deep plot or story, but they're looking in the wrong place, cuz this is a light-hearted action series meant for fun. Not every single series requires stellar story writing and heart-wrenching plotline imo, sometimes things can be created just for funsies.
Thank god for Japan and all the countries for agreeing to air, and THANK GOD for all the producers who decide to air these in overseas countries instead of making us wait endlessly - y'all 2025 will be the year of BL
