Currently at ep14, and I must say this has exceeded my expectations. I really like ML and FL's relationship, it's really authentic, and no over-dramatic clichés
Actually I'm curious, at what point is a couple considered married? At the very first scene we saw FL and LYQ dude walking 'down the aisle', but they didn't do the 3 traditional bows. But at the gravestone, it's written that FL is LYQ's wife? So are they considered already married even not having completed the entire marriage process?
Honestly nothing else to say, this exceeded my expectations completely. I thought MC was a bit silly at first, but he really isn't; the plot is just amazing, and it really explores morality as well, a topic that I really like in debates. Teeny bit of bromance, not a lot imo, but I love it all the same. It delves into some pretty dark and sad stories despite its appearance of being like a comedy series.
It's really interesting seeing so many familiar faces in the side characters, some characters I recognised (the chemistry teacher, boxer) are from Never say never, another interesting series about drug lords and cops
Currently on a quest to watch all the good "bromance" c-dramas. Just finished Spirealm and Bright Time. Looking…
I'm sure you've got the iconic ones - aka The Untamed, Guardian, WoH - down on your list, so here are some other ones:
1. Winter Begonia (ML is married actually, but their relationship is not one out of love, you'll see what I mean) 2. The abyss - aka Justice in the Dark - it's not complete cuz it got banned again I think, but the episodes that are out there are good 3. Sleuth of Ming Dynasty - detective, really smart leads, really good bromance 4. My roommate is a detective - another detective one (obviously), unfortunately the MC and FL did get tgt at the end, but very minimal, and ML and MC's bromance makes it worth watching 5. Ultimate Note - it's part of a series, but also kinda a standalone? I never did quite understand the chronology, but you can watch this without the others 6. Mysterious Lotus Casebook - period drama, martial arts, really good bromance again, and i love the plot so much 7. Under the Skin - police / forensic artist, really good series, especially if you're into cops and solving cases Other recs: Till death tear us apart, Killer Healer, Decline, S.C.I.
If you're into kdrama, you should definitely give these a try: 1. The Devil Judge 2. High School Return of a Gangster
The premise is kinda interesting, only thing that didn't really make sense is how the entire family got reincarnated cuz of their link to Kevin. Did they all really love their cousin/relative so much to linger in the living world for him?? I know the mum certainly did so, and probably the dad too, but the two kids, really??
I also didn't like the whole Pluem blaming Kevin and his family for his dad's accident, no one knew who crashed into who and who was at fault, what gives him the right to put all the blame on them, and also getting angry at Kevin cuz his dad's ghost didn't come back for him?
Unexpected good. The camera does get quite shaky, the scenes seem choppy sometimes, but the plot was amazing. I love how natural they were, all the characters. There was no cliche, no dumb misunderstandings, just two boys in love trying to find their way to each other.
So you're going to tell me that Cher left Gun without really explaining why and that it was temporary (still without…
Great, this is the only reason i need to convince me not to watch it. I hate it when a character just randomly up and leaves or runs away for absolutely no logical reason at all
Also i can't believe I didn't realise it, but Yoon Chan Young was in All of us were dead, probably cuz I didn't actually watch that series and only caught a few glances of him on another's screen haha. But I seriously can never get over how a single hairstyle can really make someone completely unrecognisable (at least to me)
