Pretty good. Stood out from the rest of the short dramas. I think there will be a second part coming soon. Hope his fiancees & Master Xiao gets ascended too. Can't wait for him to creat a mess in upper realm.

Gum's acting in this drama >>>. KSH looks badass. What more do we need from a drama? Started off great. I am only worried coz it's a 16 eps drama. Hope they won't stuff it with fillers later on.

Getting interesting with each episode. Same complaint tho. Too much screen time for second leads. More than main leads. Hope they just focus on our main leads. Solid 8.5 till this point if you skip all second leads scenes.

Too much time being wasted on support leads. As of now it looks like this drama should be tagged under multiple mains.

The dramas you mentioned are the ones I often go back to whenever I feel sick of the usual tropes. Our secret, you are my glory, Eternal love of dream and etc.. have to sit one day and prepare a list of dramas where FLs love MLs more or atleast reciprocate feelings equally.

You know this isn't the first drama where ML's character changes after falling in love while FL acts completely cool. Seen tons of dramas like this. This trait is very common in kdramas as well. Maybe the directors are focusing on their targeted audience. We from outside can rant all we want but it's the chinese audience who drives numbers for these dramas. Maybe they like such MLs idk. Brave, loyal and giving their all to FLs kind of MLs. That's why I have liked You are my glory a lot. That's a complete reversal of what we have discussed.

F** k in the end they rushed it afterall. Thought this would happen after all the time and episodes they wasted on ML being a love sick puppy and acting all jealous. I won't understand why these writers won't give proper endings to great dramas. The last act should have been given atleast 4 episides but they made the entire thing fit under 2. Anyway, great drama. The leads portrayed one of the best if not the best relationships in a cdrama. Strong romance but a weak historical & political drama.

I like how the generals under our ML shift their attitude based on the situation. If the situation demands seriousness, they will kill anyone as ordered with no emotion. I still remember the scene at the beginning where they were asked to cut someone into pieces. They did so and carried that bag with body parts like it's just a bag with some items.

Our OG ML is back. That's what I have been waiting for last 10 episodes. That fierce aura is back

WTH Wei Shao? Now you are comparing biceps with Zhonglin. I thought are past this jealous act after you and FL had that heart to heart talk under the moon light. You are a ferocious Lord, why compare with him. ML needs to be sent to a school urgently. Too childish. I got too accustomed to the normal tone of the drama and got surprised once it turned into a full on comedy. Maybe I am too single minded to enjoy this. My bad.

Yeah get on with it already. I think we are past that one year mourning period of FL already. So, they can do it now. Liked him when he was sensual towards her and acted like a Lord but after his confession he started acting strange. He was more of a romantic before his confession rather than after it.

I think they banned rebirth themes in China. If you want to add such plots into your story, you need to mask it properly. Can't show them directly. Anyway I think it's beeter like this instead of the whole rebirth plot.

Since we have got a Psycho now to deal with towards the end of episode 23, I hope he snaps back into that strong and decisive ML as you said.

Don't come hating on me now. This drama is still a solid 9 for me.

ML is becoming dumb with each episode. He needs to understand that world doesn't revolve around him. He is too possessive and is expecting too much from FL. FL loves him and is very considerate of him. I feel like ML's character completely took a different turn after he fell in love. History and political took a back seat and it's a complete romance now with ML acting like a love sick puppy. Where did that ML we all liked in thr initial episodes go. I am fine with romance but this is too much.
