And I only just realized that there isn't even a door into the library. You have to go through the secret painting on the wall.

(These are said all in fun. I'm not actually confused. Just a little disappointed in the set design and writing choices. )

I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!

1. Why is she wearing shorts in the winter, when everyone else is bundled up in winter coats and spewing steam out of their mouths? I know she's supposed to be stupid, but she can't be that stupid.

2. Why is she wearing a gold nail ring at the end of one episode that is similar to the silver nail ring that bad brother always wears? That's never explained and we never see it again.

3. Why does he have to go upstairs to get to his library door, and then go downstairs to get into his library?

4. I want his library.

5. Given where their front doors are, how are their balconies on the opposite sides and right next to each other? This one bugs me the most.

6. Who planted a TREE between their balconies on the 21st floor of a skyscraper? Who takes care of it? How do they get there? Where are the roots going to go? Who's going to trim it when it gets out of hand?

7. Why does there always have to be 2 clowns? They take me right out of the show every time they show up.

8. Ok, when bad brother gets out of the shower and his hair is natural and falling in his eyes, he looks kinda hot. I can't believe, if this was a real person, that they would willingly choose that bad, slicked to the side with a flip hair do. It's way too Snidely Whiplash. All he needs is a pencil thin mustache to twirl to complete the "I AM THE BAD GUY" look. But I guess his nail ring twirl is instead of the mustache twirl.

9. Alien's neck is impossibly long and where's his Adam's Apple? Definitely an alien.

10. If he gets sick every time he exchanges bodily fluids (spit?) with someone, I guess making love is out of the question completely. So his fantasy of having a baby with her is a total fantasy.

11. How is her brother still in high school? He didn't seem that much younger than her when her dad left when she was 13, and she's 30 now. Assuming he was around 5 years old, he'd have to be graduated from college by now.

12. Why is everyone wearing glow in the dark orange lipstick. That stuff is hideous.

13. Why do everyone's cuts and bruises disappear within a day? Mine swell and turn blue and green and last for 3 months.

14. Why doesn't she love the second ML? He's adorable. And rich. And kind. And sexy. And a snappy dresser. What more could she ask for?

15. Ah, the old "Let's sleep together chastely with all our clothes on" trope. Come on.

Hahaha, I had a feeling the writers were going to fake out the viewers every episode with a different family member having done it.

OK, someone else just told me that eps 5 & 6 show the uncle as the killer. Now I think they're just going to yank our chain until the end.

THANK YOU! I dropped this around the time of the father's affair, and I really did want to know which of her family members killed the fiance!

(sarcasm font on) Well, why wasn't HE cast in K-movie Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy as Kim Dok Ja? Or is he too ordinary looking? (sarcasm font off). The man's a good actor. I love that he doesn't look like anyone else. It helps me remember the character he's playing.

1st episode has me hooked.

It was OK. It was something to pass the time, and the episodes were mercifully short.

A bit too much photoshop in that picture. It barely looks like him. Even his little face scar is missing. As are his shoulders.

While I agree with you, I was under the impression that the director was trying to imply that they all had sex and then fell asleep, but I don't think they did, either.

I was trying to be funny about the rubber chicken, and I was hoping for jokes or puns.

Remember that time they went to the Love Hotel and Shinpei brought all the toys? What did they do with the rubber chicken?

Those of us who watched it were confused.

1. Their moms are adorable.

2. Yay, they finally had a 3 some! That was a classy looking love hotel.

3. Velma is weird. (I call her that because she reminds me of Velma from Scooby-Doo.). After all that, she still wants a romance less marriage with Takuzo? He should run far away from her.

4. I hope this show isn't aiming for Mia and Shinpei, then Takuzo and Velma to become normal couples. I want Takuzo to push Velma away and choose Mia and Shinpei.

Leaving my brain at the coat check, episode 8.

Pastor is the son of Hae Suk and Nak Jun.
Som-i is a split personality of Hae Suk. They're actually the same person, so Pastor is also the son of Som-i.
When the son got lost and died, and the parents never found him, Hae Suk went nuts, and the part of her that remembered their son got split off into a separate "thing", so Hae Suk thought they'd never had children.

None of it makes any sense.

Oh, and you know how in K-dramas there's always a 1 to 3 year time skip where the lovers are apart, and they forget that cell phones exist and don't talk to each other for 1 to 3 years? Yeah! Nak Jun dumps Hae Suk and there's an 80 year time skip until they meet again. Grrrrr.

Som-i never once acted like Hae Suk. She didn't act like Hae Suk when we didn't know who she was. In the flashbacks, when she's young Hae Suk, she doesn't act like old Hae Suk. Even if she was supposed to be a broken off part of Hae Suk, there was nothing Hae Suk about her. When Som-i was coming on to the ML, she didn't act like Hae Suk. I find this odd given both actresses have played younger and older versions of the same character in other shows. Maybe this was the writer's or director's choice in order to confuse us, but I felt it didn't work. They also never explained why or how a separate, younger, trashier dressing "soul" happened, or why Som-i was going to hell.
