No wonder I-na wants to keep her glasses on all the time. When she was almost hit by the taxi, hearing all those other people's voices was overwhelming. Poor kid.
Do you guys think they just want us to believe the granddad is having and affair or do you all think he is actually…
I don't see anything that even hints that granddad is having an affair. He just likes to get away from grandma for awhile and go to a club and dance, and she wants to sleep and dream.
I am on ep1. Something was wierd. I think DaHea broke the bottle on purpose. Am I right?
Yes, she made it look like crappy husband #2 attacked her. He was so drunk that he didn't remember if he did or not. But he definitely threw a bottle at her, which missed, so the cops and the judge did believe her when she said that he attacked her.
Reading some comments, I think a lot of people believe that post-traumatic stress and depression looks like what…
Thank you!!! I wish Netflix would use the Korean title as exactly translated. I remember watching Something in the Rain only to find out the Korean title was Pretty Sister Who Buys Me Food, which made a lot more sense.
i wonder if there's a particular reason the FL is always seen wearing light yellow
It's her color. The door is also yellow. It's how you connect the dots to the FL. The writer probably could have picked any color, but yellow is nice and subtle, so it doesn't hit you over the head.
I watched a production of Romeo and Juliet once, where the costume designer made all of Romeo's family and friends wear blue, and all of Juliet's family wore red. It helped the audience keep track of who was on each side of the feud. So I scrutinize every scene looking for something yellow now.
But the kid is really a kid, I like them at the same time feel guilty for liking them.
They're 12 years old. They have a crush on each other. I remember being 12 and having a crush on a boy, and a boy having a crush on me. It went as far as one phone call. That's as far as these kids have gone.
What if ML needs to be wearing The Precious (TM) {aka, the family ring] in order to save FL? Or, in order to be able to actually do something in the past? There's got to be more to this ring than just, "It was great grandma's."
1. Dong Hee is losing weight the right way. Good thing she owns a gym. Although her fat seems to be melting off very quickly. I hope they don't show her magically looking like a supermodel again with her skin snapped back into place. She's bound to have hanging skin. She owns a plastic surgery center where her former fiance' works. Maybe he'll plastic surgery her back to her old self? Why else is his character a plastic surgeon?
2. Dong Hee can fly again. We still haven't been shown how this superpower is going to help anyone. I suspect she saves FL by flying her out of a bad situation.
3. I-na's superpower hasn't fully come into play yet, either. I think it will as she gains more confidence.
4. Crazy uncle is rather sweet. Everyone thinks he's the scary one, but he's been very kind and helpful. The scariest thing he's done is cut up gimbap badly while talking on the phone and being distracted. I thought for sure he was going to cut his own fingers off.
5. Super Mom knows everything. We don't know what she knows, but she's got Crazy Mom's number. And she knows that by FL coming clean to everyone, that everything will work out better in the end for FL & ML.
6. What the F is wrong with ML? Obsessive compulsive doesn't even begin to describe it. Good on FL for leaving him. And why hasn't he gone back in time to where FL was in high school, if only to watch and see how she's saved and who saves her? Or why hasn't he tried himself? What is he waiting for? He can go back in time to anyplace she was. He hasn't always gone back when he was there, too.
7. I-na and Ki-Ho!!!! Sorry, but he will always be Ki-Ho to me. I'm not sure what he sees in her. I have to keep reminding myself that they are "13" in Korean age, which would be 12 in western age. He got so tall. She seems 12. He seems older. He is really 15, while she is really 12, and it shows. As much as I love him as an actor, I wish they'd picked a more age appropriate boy actor to play opposite I-na.
8. Someone else in the comments called the ring "The Precious" and that cracks me up. Thank you! From hereon in, it will be called The Precious. I think ML from the future gave it to FL in the fire, because at that point, he knows he's going back to her. Super Mom may have even foreseen it and gave it to him to give to FL. Which puts the ring in a time loop where it's never in the ownership of Super Mom. Paradox.
9. Scary Mom is a loose cannon. Will she try to kill FL for the insurance money. Or will she send her out on another scam?
10. FL has some sort of super power, even if it's just to enhance other people's superpowers.
But seriously, the couple of paragraphs at the top of this page is pretty much the summary of what happens.
I watched a production of Romeo and Juliet once, where the costume designer made all of Romeo's family and friends wear blue, and all of Juliet's family wore red. It helped the audience keep track of who was on each side of the feud. So I scrutinize every scene looking for something yellow now.
Scary Mom is pretty scary, but there are times when she seems quite nice. She does seem like she has two personalities.
