It seems like I'm the only one still loving this and not getting bored with it. I'm looking forward to watching…
It's not perfect, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it. It could have been shorter and left out a few characters (star jin, cough cough). But it's one of the few K-dramas I didn't drop. I hope they nail the ending. I find so many K-dramas let me down with their ending.
I guess the inevitable breakup really did happen. But at least this breakup makes sense. But it's obviously they still both love each other, so I'm curious as to how they get back together.
I wonder what Do-Hee's father's wish was. He seemed to have been in an accident, so I wonder if he wanted to at least see Do-Hee grow up. If that was the wish, that would seem good enough to get our two lovebirds back together.
I thought Evil Son disappeared too easily. He won't be vanquished until episode 16, I'm guessing. I wonder what sort of powers he has.
I'm guessing that Dohee's parents made a deal with Guwon aka The Demon for granting their wish to have a kid and…
But Guwon's deals last 10 years. It was Do-Hee's 11th birthday when they died. OH WAIT. Koreans count being born as year 1, don't they. So Do-Hee's 11th birthday would have been the end of year 10. Hum, interesting.
Anyone have a hunch like me that madam ju make a deal with guwon to kill do hee parents?
I have the opposite hunch. The car crash was an accident, maybe caused by Madame Ju, but Madame Ju did not make a deal with Guwon. This was Do-Hee's 11th birthday. If Madame Ju had made a deal with Guwon, then 10 years later she would have gone to hell. But Do-Hee was not 21 when Madame Ju died. Do-Hee is in her 30's, so it's been over 20 years since her parent's died.
Ep 13 was written by the author to show the importance of togetherness and doing things with your loved ones so…
Yes, and that's why I like it. I just think people should chill a little bit and enjoy the togetherness (including meeeeee). Gu-won is trying really hard to have no regrets this time around.
Viewers complain if they don't get enough of a couple just being happy together. Then they complain because it's boring and doesn't move the story along. I get it. I was a little bored by episode 13, but I did enjoy their chemistry together.
It's just nice to see a married couple who really love each other, and are even growing more in love with each other. And it's nice to see the 2nd leads back down and agree that the 1st leads are made for each other.
I could have lived without all the product placement this episode, and I didn't even know what the products were. It was just obvious when the camera lingered too long on X and the person made a comment about how good X made them feel.
Haha 😂 I really wanted her to just stay in the her other form(when she Changed to a rich woman) I mean she’s…
I think Go-d does stay in rich woman form when she's in the casino, but only the waiters and other patrons see her that way. I think it's only Guwon and Do-hee and the cops who see her as a homeless person. I suspect she only presents as homeless when Guwon is around.
I'm also distracted by her teeth, haha. I can't look away.
Evil Son (Madame Ju's son) read the Demon handbook he stole from Guwon.
We now know (via Episode 12) Guwon's backstory. He killed his entire family and became the Devil because of it.
What if . . . Evil Son thinks that in order to become THE Devil and have all the power that Guwon has, that Evil Son needs to kill his entire family, and then he'll become immortal and have power at the snap of his fingers.
Evil Grandson seemed to think that he or his dad was the devil (or he had the devil inside him). Madame Ju and the Grandson have already been killed (I refuse to believe Grandson committed suicide of his own volition). Wifey is next, as she already has burn marks on her arm. I bet Sister and her twins are in his sights now, too, as he is getting chummy with her. Evil Son doesn't need heirs to the throne if he's working on becoming immortal.
Joo Seok Hoon better watch his back, as Evil Son isn't falling for the "I want to be on your side" bullcrap that Seok Hoon was trying to sell him. I could see Guwon saving Seok Hoon, but maybe not saving anyone else in that family.
The parallels with Destined With You were there when they hit us with the shower scene, hahaha. And the two male leads proposing to the female lead. And the Joseon era flashbacks. And an evil weirdo. And the magic. But I'm enjoying My Demon more than Destined With You.
1. This is some of the best acting I've seen Song Kang do. I'm usually unimpressed by his acting, but swayed by…
4. I don't think he told Do-Hee the name Wol-Sim, though. Do-Hee was doodling the name in her office and wondering where she'd heard it before. That scene confused me, because I'm pretty sure Gu-won avoided mentioning the actual name Wol-Sim to Do-Hee when he told Do-Hee he dreamed of his first love.
Episode 12. I have thoughts, and a couple questions.
1. This is some of the best acting I've seen Song Kang do. I'm usually unimpressed by his acting, but swayed by the pretty. He was quite good in this episode. He really should wear Joseon clothing more. His shoulders fit in it better.
2. So after Star Jin is shown as a main role, then support role. After all that, her part has been useless and could have been left out completely.
3. And now we have a new person. A priest. Father Van Helsing perhaps? Is he there to kill the Demon or to do in Madame Ju's evil son?
4. Why was Do-Hee doodling Wol-Sim on her papers at work? Gu-won hasn't told Do-Hee the name of his first love. UPDATE: I rewatched it. Gu-won did tell Do-Hee he was in love with someone and her name was Wol-sin. Now the question is, why does Do-Hee think this name sounds familiar to her?

Besides, this show has constantly zagged when I thought it was going to zig, so I have high hopes the writer has done something different this time.
