Did Gu go from cute possible boyfriend at the end of the antepenultimate episode to suddenly asshole in the penultimate episode? Even MJ said he changed in a hour. And now he's hiring her to be his therapist? When did she ever like to hear him talk? He never talked. I liked him better when he didn't talk.
And what's with the "sleeping with their cloths on together" thing? K dramas always do that. Oh, the heater is out. Sure. Uh-huh. Yeah. I think that MJ and Gu did NOT have sex back in Sanpo, now. I think it was just a kiss.
i though about it too, but i was more curious about refusing to contact her in the first place ? maybe he was…
I wonder if he was afraid his employer or other gangsters would mess with the Yeom family so he wanted to make a clean break until he could get his own act together and leave the gangster life.
All characters had great character development, but honestly I never expected to like Chang Hee this much!!! 😭…
In the first couple of episodes I thought that CH was going to annoy the heck out of me with his non-stop chatter. But he has become my favorite character. He's loyal and really cares, and is very funny.
No wonder Mr Gu couldn’t catch up with Chang Hee. He was a runner 😁😁
But Gu could run faster than CH because Gu could jump the ditch and CH couldn't, because Gu could run a distance in 11 seconds and CH could only do it in 12 seconds.
My take was that both were good runners, but Gu purposely didn't try to catch CH. He only wanted to chase him. Gu made it onto the train, but never tracked CH down on the train.
This show has not gone where I thought it would go, and that's a good thing. Keeps surprising me. But it better not do a 25/21. I better get some romance and a happy ending for our siblings.
The two proposals. I'm not sure either couple will actually marry. I'm not sure GJ can wait until the kid is 20. Although I did have a co-irker who waited until his girlfriends' daughter became a legal adult before he married the girlfriend. Although, I'm not sure if that had anything to do with child support from the ex or not.
MJ talking about carrying a baby instead of using a stroller. Mr. Gu doing a staring contest with a baby. Notice that one of the lady workers was carrying the baby. You never see it in its stroller.
Obviously, MJ and Gu going to Sanpo on the train, only in different years.
Former Samsik most likely changed his name to something with "Bin", because of that little snippet of conversation…
I feel I'm at a disadvantage when I watch foreign shows because I have no idea if the names are cool, nerdy, outdated, etc. If I read Dickens, for example, I know David Copperfield is a good guy and Uriah Heep is the bad guy just by their names.
I don't have that when I watch Korean dramas, because I don't know if somebody's name is a bad guy name or a good guy name, or an unusual name or a common name.
some people don't always have an obvious baby bump, but i get what you mean
Yes, I agree some people barely show, but this young lady is tiny. Where is she hiding a full term baby? It's like the costume dept. just put a loose T-shirt on her and called it a day.
Someone explain to me why the pregnant teenager who has to be nearing her due date is flat chested and has a smaller waist than I do? They make pregnancy bellies and padded bras. They don't have to make her look huge, just realistically pregnant.
Are we just going to ignore that the leads chemistry is so so bad, non existent really. I’m on episode 11 and…
In the rainstorm scene, I felt their chemistry was off the charts.
I think the kiss was disappointing because it was a COVID kiss. Their lips never touched, and the camera angles were such that you couldn't even tell contact was made.
I wonder if we'll even get a real kiss out of this show.
hm I just realized something.. during the time mr. gu was in sanpo, the dogs always stayed there as stray dogs.…
I also noticed that analogy.
It's another case of the writer pairing scenarios. The dogs running wild while Gu is on the run. The dogs being caged when Gu is being dragged back to his old life.
Copied the whole event. As said in 1st week itself - drama is still about who gets who, who is with who.power…
If you don't like it, don't watch it. I don't watch Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, but I don't go on Arnold Schwarzenegger fan sites and write crap about his movies. Go find something you like to watch.

CH gets a car!
Gu finally tells MJ his name.
CH telling his Dad he loves him.

Mr. Gu asked Dad for MJ phone number twice.

His short bangs combined with his acting with his eye more open give a totally different look to his face.
