This news story reminds me of the bizarre fixation that netizens have for celebrities and how they feel that it's their right to dictate what goes on in their lives.
This is what's wrong with society. Holy sh!t, why on earth is this singer apologizing for dating an actor? Why can't she simply date who she wants to date? Do you see how ridiculous this all is? This is the whole point that I and many others have been trying to make. Whether or not we like what happened between the three of them OR agree with their dating habits/dating styles/dating situation etc.. it has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of us.
Why do some people try to impose their beliefs and/ or superior morals on others?
It's easy to be just a normal, everyday person and have the same situation happen to them except in that case they wouldn't have everyone on the planet putting their two cents in on what they think someone should do or what they did wrong etc.
I can't imagine how hard it is to be a celebrity and have to try to live up to everyone's standards.
Again, I will bring up Lee Sun Kyun's suicide because of how recent his tragedy still is. Can you imagine what that poor man went through trying to get through his day when he was constantly bombarded by questions from the media, the fans, the police? To be pushed to a point where he obviously felt that he had no way out is just abhorrent.
Anyone who points the finger at another human being should give their heads a shake and then ask themselves, what is going on in their own life where they feel they have the absolute right to be the judge, jury and executioner?
Give people the grace to deal with their own situations.

It doesn't matter whether they're a celebrity or not, their relationships are nobody else's business. The fact that they feel the need to have to explain themselves is barbaric. Why must they have to have the approval from fans for who they date?
Just because people watch them on TV or in movies doesn't give them a right to dictate WHO they date HOW LONG they should remain with their mate or IF they can date someone after they end a relationship.
Being a fan doesn't give a person the right to dictate what goes on in someone else's life. Fans do not own celebrities.
I don't think any of them owe anybody an explanation for anything.

"IT WAS NOT A DECISION MADE IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME" which pretty much indicates they were having problems for a while which means he didn't just break up with her on the fly and go after Han So Hee. Their relationship was in trouble. Period. This is exactly what I suspected. They were not engaged. They had a long relationship but it didn't appear to have a ring type of commitment. Would everyone have preferred that they got married and then split up down the road? They are all normal people with normal relationship problems. Unfortunately their lives are under the microscope.
