I think they mentioned in the last episode Luo Yinfan and Chongzi became sword spirits. That's why at the end of this special there's a sword floating next to them, I guess they both inhabit the same sword?

But as for Tingxue... yea I got no clue. Totally random and has no logical explanation whatsover 😅

If I were to guess the plot a little, I'm guessing after FL travels to the past she indeed changes destiny and manages to remove the evil bone(root) from ML. In doing so she dies.

ML eventually becomes a deity and meets the reincarnation of FL who has no memories of the future or as a mortal.

Eventually, ML somehow manages to regain evil bones but now has a choice btwn becoming a deity or a devil

Perhaps time travel is used one more time later? 🤔

damn really? I've seen so many dramas with shitty endings that randomly give an extra episode with a happy ending. No real logic but happy nonetheless... kinda hoping for that here lol

Is there an epilogue episode? I'm really bummed they don't actually show the twins returning to human form in the end...
