MZY traveled in the past and changed the fact of the demon core being sealed in young WZ. Now it is sealed in present day MZY who later returned with it to the present as well.
MZY is originally a half-demon whose father is the former Cat Lord.
WZ originally gained the powers of the Cat Lord and the evil demon core. They mention the reason she is half-demon is due to the demon core in her body. But due to time travel, this never happens. Yet she is still the Cat Lord and even awakens as a full demon.
My theory is either: 1) Just the Cat Lord powers itself are enough to turn a person into a half-demon. 2) Although the past was changed and WZ no longer possessed the demon core, the karma or "past" still exists and the fact that she became half-demon still persists. But with the core's removal, she passed her ongoing tribulation and became a full demon through the Cat Lord's powers.
I personally feel the second theory makes more sense.
Regarding MZY, since he was born to the Cat Lord he was biologically half-demon. Considering he never realized, perhaps his demon aspect was sealed or dormant. By taking in the demon core, it awakened his own demon side. In other words, when he returned to the present he was already a fully awakened half-demon.
When WZ stabbed him with the exorcist sword, the demon core was destroyed but similarly MZY started undergoing the tribulation to become a full demon which he later passes.
So in the end, both MZY and WZ are full demons. WZ even mentions to a comatose MZY to not waste the lifespan of a greater demon implying he is a full demon.

Perhaps it has to do with her snake demon identity? Like a snake shedding its skin, the Snake Lord sheds a body and reincarnates every once in a while?
Ok so while the time-travel artifact couldn't affect the current timeline, HRY's efforts in making small changes regardless to help those connected to her karmic cycle touched the Goddess of Time.
Then the Goddess of Time used her powers to turn back time within HRY (from when she was stuck in the formation and had to kill BJS, absorbing his energy) and restoring BJS from the energy within HRY...

I recall Oh My Emperor didn't have anything related to a script (something about constellation powers) while TROTR had FL enter a script and then change the story
Mr Screenwriter is still keeping a fourth rule from the FL... Wonder what that rule could be? Perhaps one that allows all characters to resist their scripted character designs? Or one that allows to change the whole plot but could possibly trap him and FL in the story?
