Yes, there is definitely a dynamic in C-BL that is reccurent. For ABO, to tell the truth I was somehow a bit into that second couple (and they didn't have a much more healthier relationship XD )
Maybe what also does the trick for me about love after addiction is - beside the fact that there is not so much manipulative tension - the fact that I was reaaaaaaally into addicted when it aired. And that time time already I thought Yang Meng character and Chen Wen actor were really cute. His character is more mature and less clueless in there which is nice and they were able to keep the same actor which really made me quite biased about it.

It's really bad. tbh as for me I'm happy they will stop this and so we can laeve it behind.
