I like the change of settings and also the fact that it brought up new scenarios ... Once in a while we do have good scenarios, we even sometimes have some original ideas but I feel like we're turning round a lot ... like more often than not. I don't know if you also watch thai BL (they had a few historical bl) but ... I feel like we are turning round a lot lot lot. it can still be okay dramas but tbh I haven't been moved by any thai bl recently. I can't remember ... at the moment Wu is inteeresting. I think that's about it.

I think good dramas are not that often and even less if you are into a special type so … it’s not being greedy. When it’s good there is no reason to not want a second serving.

I really want him to have his happy end with Ziming. Because ... I think they sincerely like each other and if not for YinZhou, Ziming surely deserve some happiness. I don't mind if we have him go through an horrible downfall, an exile ... any necessary repentancee arc I'm okay but ... I want them happy.

It's hard once your start to forge idea and expectations and ... not only that those aren't met but also it's not a good surprise enough to replace it.
I keep on watching it but I fell a bit out of it to be honest. I am not sure you would have been more convinced if you kept watching on.
Somehow Up's character is a bit more interesting. But Wayu does'nt have much more depth I think . It's not bad. As you said he is the epitome of green flag good guy ... I don't mind having a nice guy in a drama but there is something very superficial about some scenes in the drama that just made me fall out of it bit by bit.
(and ... I get you for the spitting food, even now I still remember it because I also felt like it was more than unecessary ... maybe I don't get that idea of funny.)
I feel like those past 2 month we have a looooooooooooot of BL but a loooooot of average or under average batch and a few interesting ones.

yes ... they all have some kind of ... problematic behaviours, unable to communicate, to ask for proper consent, to explain how they feel, to not think for someone else, to not hide things ... plus crazy family.
But somehow ... I really think it's a good drama. Like, tbh from an outsider point of view it's a loooooooooot of many bad and worst decision but in some aspects, some decision, I am pretty sure if you are in what is happening we are all prone to do those bad decisions ... (to some extent ... ) showing a cold shoulder instead of listening, having misplaced pride when you would need a good listening and understanding, running away whwen you should be strong, hiding your thoughts, bein moody, being hypocrite and overall being scared of being hurt, being left ...
It's a whole mess but every now and then I feel that it's very much what life is like. And somehow I don't agree but to some extent I even understand Lu Feng ... But will still keep on defending Little Yi Chen (I just need to come up with a very good excuse for the terrible idea to pair his crush with his brother ... stupidest nonsens ever XDD )
