Okay, so that depends on what you consider a happy ending, there is no romance between the leads and they don't get together in the last scene either, you could create your own ending and think they dated a couple of years later maybe. It's a good drama, you could watch it at a time when you are exhausted with too many rom-coms or thrillers. This one is relatively more easy-going, and has good acting from leads too.
It's okay, it's probably good for a younger audience, or as one of the 1st high school cdramas, I have seen many of those till now, so I couldn't get that into it.
Looonng way to go then, I am still at Episode 12, shelved it for now, might come back to it later, I did start liking Park Eun Bin so that's one good takeaway from the series.
Definitely worth the watch, knowing predator's pov just heightened the drama, I missed this in the original drama and was glad, quite a few questions were answered, especially a more all-around view of that episode.
Yes, there are repetitive scenes and it could have probably been wrapped up in 1-1.5hrs, but I think adding that footage brought us back into the drama. I did skip a bit because I had just finished watching Mouse but I am more likely to watch this if I ever re-watch
I am on Episode 12, telling myself, just 4 more episodes and you can just chuck it in the Completed Section. I just came to MDL and realized it actually 20 episodes *facepalm* So unnecessary
Good series, good acting, just a hint of romance was probably a good decision on their part.
I usually shy away from horror stuff but I picked this up for Jang Na Ra. If you have watched Hotel Del Luna and Let's Fight Ghost then this should be okay to watch too. Not very scary.
Of course, I have, but I still don't think of it as a happy ending.
She died earlier than him with a child in her womb and he had to live the rest of his life thinking about her/pretending to forget about her going about his duty as the king for about 14 or so years
That last scene is what he is thinking at the last moment before he dies, so nope, that doesn't make me feel happy even if the drama ended all bright and happy and with a kiss
Me whenever I see anything TRS relate: “I’m ok, I’m ok, I’m ok” 😭
Lol, have you heard the 2PM song from their latest album, "OK or Not", maybe it resonates with your mood right now, maybe you will get your Junho fix too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVOTPrfMKMk
Who is that person who said it was a happy ending, and I fell for it!! Somewhere around episode 10, I realized I was too invested in the story and I had to prepare myself for a sad ending
But Daebak, Junho's acting as the King was really good, the stills for the drama didn't do him justice, watching him was a treat and when he smiled, I smiled :D:D Lee Se Young was good in her role too, but somewhere towards the end, I was discontent with Deok Sim, I understood why she was rejecting the king but I was annoyed by it because I could see she was being too mean to the King

I really like this interpretation of the Stone Skipping scene <3<3
