I think it's because of the actress playing her, I actually didn't hate her as much as I would've, I think the character tested my patience around Ep 9 where she got so vengeful that she was bullying the FL

I think most stuff that happened at that hospital were too convenient, her friend being a go-between when required, meeting a caretaker that's on the run when required haha

Agree with everything that you said, I just finished watching at 5.30 am and came to write a review but it's all here haha

I did finish it and you are right, it is a slow burn kinda show and that's not my cup of tea. But if I have to talk about the actors, story and everything, like I said earlier, I can see it's very well-written and well casted too, for people who like this genre, I am sure it's one of the best

To me, their entire relationship, the way it was developed, was pretty unrealistic, that misunderstanding at the end was more natural than some of their other scenes, that's why I said it wasn't unnecessary. Being disappointed because your partner doesn't believe you or taking your time to realize that trying to interfere because you didn't believe her efforts doesn't mean you can't be together and realizing that apologizing comes first seemed right to me.
I am not going to talk about if those set of scenes were required in the 1st place, because like I said in my review, most of the show seemed like forced acting to me, doing things because that's the script so I'll not get into that discussion :)

Actors look amazing, good chemistry and no unnecessary misunderstanding and good base concept too but somehow as the story went on, I just couldn't get into it, when FL or ML did something, I kept thinking 'oh she/he is saying this for this answer/reaction' rather feeling their emotions.

@amaginon, I was looking to see if anyone was looking to drop it at Ep 4 cos I am about to, I just can't with the FL lol

Agree with everything that you said, especially the part about Darren Chen, he somehow made Wen Bing so endearing that it's hard to not smile when he's messing around with the FL
and since that convo with Sang Tian, I noticed how every time Meng Na came along, he used to plaster a smile and then turn around ahhhaha

Some might find it boring since the reveal is towards the end and usually I am one of them but in this one, Wen Bing and Sang Tian were so sweet that I actually didn't mind as much

Omg I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, I fell in love with Wen Bing and Sang Tian and all the other characters, my first 10/10 cdrama Ti Amo <3<3<3
I see so many cdramas with 30+ episodes, I wish this was longer :(

I added it to my list because of the high rating and since it's recommended in many places but the summary never appealed to me. Started it since I have run out of other dramas to watch and after watching, I understand the craze, it is a well-written show.

But I realized it's just not for me so I am going to finish it because I am curious about how it is going to end but obviously not as invested as the other fans of this show.

Haha, that's exactly what happened to me, I was thinking about tabling it while watching the 1st episode but the ending made me so curious and I am now on the 3rd episode haha

I held off on watching this drama because of reviews that said FL acted like a 8-10 yr instead of 17. Proven yet again that I should judge a series by my own standards and not based on reviews only.

I got the 8-10 yr feeling maybe 2-3 times and that's it. Shin Hye Sun was perfect as always and I liked the series a lot.

I had also seen reviews saying the ending was good and I thought how good could it be? But omg I agree with everyone, one of the best Episode 16 ever.

If you like romance, comedy and mystery, I think you should give it a try and judge on your own.

It did feel a bit weird, even a 1st year college student would have been good for me but somehow high schooler just felt weird

I read spoilers before starting and even the above comments so I was apprehensive since Ep 14 but I actually didn't mind until the middle of Ep 16. I think Ep 15 shouldn't be skipped

I hate how they directed that scene, he didn't seem sorry about it, more like "oh yeah I did that, just be happy I am back " I think that just made it worse, if he was regretful about hurting her, I think I would have been more understanding

The scene to skip is the one after the Christmas concert, the chat with the mom and I think the letter, just ignore that they all happened and think they broke up but she didn't forget him and go to 5 years later, I think that would make his coming back more happy than disappointing

Thanks to all the spoilers, I was apprehensive from Ep 14. Maybe it's because of the same, I actually think the drama was good until the middle of Ep 16. Just skip one scene there and you will be less disappointed about the ending. Think about it as the Noble Idiot trope that we usually see in dramas.

I wanted to watch this drama for Lee Jae Wook but I was holding off on watching because of all the bad reviews, all of them are justified (such a ridiculous arc at the end) but what some of them don't mention is the drama itself was watchable and good until that arc. I wouldn't call it the best romance or anything but LJW fans can still enjoy it since it's his 1st lead role.

This review is to encourage people to watch and form their opinion, just be prepared from the middle of Ep 16 is all I can say.
