I'm not an expert. This was my first time experiencing Omegaverse too. So I'm telling you things a/c to what I understood so far.

In standard Omegaverse, a baby is conceived between two men when an Alpha impregnates a male Omega, who has a specialized, female-like reproductive system. The Alpha provides the sp€rm, and the male Omega carries the pregnancy and gives birth. Omegas have unique anatomical feature described as a "uterus connected to the rectum" or a "separate canal". This process is k/a male pregnancy, or mpreg.
No one can impregnate "ALPHA" because they're the superior dominant beings in a "NORMAL OMEGAVERSE".

(I actually saw some diagrams too for better understanding.)

1 - In case of Shen Wenlang (Alpha) and Gao Tu (Omega)~~

Since, this is a normal Alpha-Omega pair. SWL can impregnate Gao Tu and he did.

2 - In case of Hua Yong (Enigma) and Sheng Shaoyou (Alpha) ~~

In this case, HY is a rare blood type he is an Enigma and the superior being. He's the "Alpha of Alphas". So he can impregnate Alphas too.
Normally, in Omegaverse Alphas are the dominant ones who can impregnate others and SSY is an Alpha too that's why his body is "NOT" designed to give birth to a baby. Hence, this led Hua Yong to repeatedly stimulate SSY's body with his pheromones to develop a uterus and conceive a baby. Though it was not permanent and caused complications later.

3 - Now about the belly and baby bump ~~

SSY had no baby bump because his "alpha body" was rewritten to have an "omega-physiology" and he was artificially stimulated by HY's pheromones to grow a uterus (as I said above), but this change was not permanent and his body didn't fully adapt like a natural omega's body would. In the novel, he is only described as gaining some weight rather than showing a visible bump.
(And they didn't let us see Gao Tu's belly too. He definitely had a belly but they skipped through his pregnancy and story. So disappointing. 😒)

That's why even the doctor told them to not have this baby bcz there were no medical records of Enigma-Alpha bond pregnancy in the history. Doctor knew that it can be complicated later but Hua Yong lashed out on doctor. Even though SSY is alright in the end still he was almost on de@th bed. Now HY is scared of losing him that why he doesn't want to have more babies.

Lmao. I started watching 1st episode today and my dumbash brain couldn't process some connections and things. I watched 30 min. episode in 1 hr.

I just finished watching ABO Desire a few days ago and I saw comments saying
"Duan Ziang is Hua Yong's ancestor" and that "Shuhe should donate some of his braincells to Shen Wenlang. He wouldn't be this stupid."

I can't stop laughing. I guess it's gonna be fun and there is another manipulative boss right here. 😂

In traditional Omegaverse, a beta cannot get pregnant or get another person pregnant, as they have typical human reproductive anatomy where only alphas and omegas can get pregnant or impregnate others. However, because Omegaverse is a flexible genre where authors can create their own rules, it is possible to write a story where a beta can get pregnant or make someone pregnant.

Right. That was my reaction in ep. 9 too but i couldn't drop it because I wanted to see how HY and SWL will suffer and make up for all their bad deeds. Also, I couldn't drop it bcz of the actors too. They're so good. (I've never dropped anything before.)

Idk if you know this and I'm not trying to justify HY's actions but actually HY is suffering from "Mate Seeking Syndrome" that led him to do it. He can't resist his partner's temptation during rut. That's why he ties himself too.

I think you shouldn't drop it. HY's sufferings will start from ep. 11 though he didn't suffer much and mood b/w HY and SSY becomes much lighter too.

So it means his family atleast knows that he's an ENIGMA.

No, The main couple (HY and SSY) got happy ending but the second couple (SWL and GT) have kind of open ending.
Main couple becomes a happy family. Don't worry about it. Watch it you will know.

Can anyone explain how Hua Yong happened to inherit all his father's assets being the 13th child and youngest in the family ?? Why did the father write his name in the will when he never took interest in Hua Yong all his life or gave him importance ?

Is there a story behind it ? Did HY really forged the documents ?

Not sure. Though we all want another season because of the ending.

I feel like we need to continue and go deeper with Shen Wenlang and GaoTu's story.

Hua Yong is an Enigma and he is pretending to be an Omega to win Sheng Shaoyou's heart bcz "Sheng Shaoyou likes Omegas" and "doesn't like Alphas" and "he doesn't know Enigmas exist" because existence of Enigma is not known to the world yet. Hua Yong happened to be a rare blood type.

This thing is very clear since the beginning of the series.
