I stopped watching for a minute but I'm on episode 4 now. Damn, I want them to let these men grow up. The actors…
I'm late to start this series, but I couldn't agree more! I'm not opposed to school dramas, but dang, can't we have more adult roles? Can't adults play adults? Are school settings cheaper to make? Literally none of them look like they should be in college lol.
genuinely didn't get why Tiger had to move to Hong Kong for 2 yrs, why he needs to get stronger to protect Nao?…
It's more of his father forcing him to go because he acted on his own against a rival gang. He accepted it easily because, yes, he won, but was injured severely in the process. He went in more with adrenaline than plan. He knows that if he stays around Nao and his family, they could become targets because of him, so he wants to get stronger to be able to continue to protect them, but with less personal injury.
Regarding the girl, it becomes a point of contention between Ger and Nao every time Nao tries to date someone else, which eventually leads to Ger confessing during a fight. So she's more a set up for future than anything else. The book does explain it a bit better, but it's understandable it's a bit compressed in the show because of time constraints.
I have so many emotions and feelings about this show! The last 2 episodes were superior to all the rest, by far. I had some doubts in the first couple episodes because of how silly it felt, then I had some trouble with the plot feeling sluggish in the middle, but dayum, did it deliver in the end! JJ killed episode 11, and Net absolutely demolished episode 12. I am genuinely impressed by both, but Net's performance had me captivated.
When Nakhun told his mom he wished to be her son in every lifetime, my heart utterly wept for the beauty of that sentiment. Then, to compound that, Nakhun and Phop vow the same to each other, despite any fears they may not remember each other in their next life. The promise to love each other beyond a single lifetime is something everyone deserves and few truly find. I wish a PhopNakhun kind of love upon humanity. Maybe then we wouldn't be so broken as a species.
I totally forgot about this, so I'm just now watching. This has to be written by someone else than the show, right? Like, why is it so different? And corny/cheesy/cringey? Also, Teerak's friends running to spoil the surprise is peak bad friend behavior to me. Wtf. Why would you want to spoil that for your friend? I want to watch it, but it's causing me semi permanent stink face on right now...
I'm rewatching episode 11 because it was so good. I gotta say, Meng telling the story and having his head in an upside down broken stool is hysterical to me 😂
I'm so mad I have to wait a week 😭 This episode pulled on all the heartstrings. JJ did a really good job this episode. The emptiness in his stare was too familiar, but extremely accurate.
what is Jayden and Dannueas story called? ☺️where did you read it?
It's called "Owner of the North." I found a copy to be able to download on oceansofpdf.com. I literally *just* started it because I was just now able to find it lol.
I'm hoping it's just the week wait in between, but this feels like it's plodding at a snail's pace for me. It might have been more engaging at 10 episodes? I still love it and think it's well acted, well shot, and beautifully made, but I think the writing is a smidge lacking. And damn, but can Victor ever play any other type of character, please? I knew he was sus as soon as I saw him only because he *always* plays the bad guy. Ugh, I need a super sappy happy ending for this, please 🙏
The little extra scene at the end. Like Marvel movies. On Netflix there's an extra scene of Thup working as a police forensic artist, but it's not on Iqiyi.
So I just finished a re-watch. Why is there a coda in the last episode on Netflix, but not Iqiyi? I was late to watch in general, so maybe I missed some info, but I would have thought Iqiyi would have the coda, not Netflix...
I am thoroughly enjoying this, it's lovely and beautiful and all the sappy words. My only issue is the pacing. For some reason to me it just feels so slow. There are so many questions that aren't being answered, but we keep getting more questions on top of them. Maybe it's because I'm having to wait a week between episodes that it feels that way, but I worry that all the questions will not have the time to be answered before the end. And when is Nakhun going to explain he's not actually Klao? Why do I want more answers and flashes of future/present day JomKaew than what I'm getting in the past? We already know that Kaew said the curse and that their future incarnations aren't together - so them trying to make it seem like Jom *might* accept Kaew in the past is malarkey. I just get the vibe that it's missing something. I still love it and will continue to watch, I just have some small trepidations about it, unfortunately.
I don’t think you should use “crocodile tears” haha. crocodile tears basically means fake crying to manipulate…
I have always heard and used it in relation to the size of the tears, not the emotion behind it. Definitely didn't mean he was being manipulative, because poor thing was for sure traumatized 😢
Did I miss some information? Why is GerNao's story arc geo-locked on YouTube? FahPhoon's and ThitDao's story arcs were available, but all of a sudden GerNao's is not. I have a VPN so it's not a big deal, but it doesn't make sense in my head...
I genuinely want to watch this, but my personal church trauma and deconstructing may prevent me from being able to... Which sucks. The trailer showed soooo much angst, so many questions, and so much doubt in self and in faith. Ugh, it's gonna break all our hearts.
Omggg is it ?? Am still contemplating on watching this because I avoid horror and is it very very scary ? Like…
I don't mean to scare you! More just give you the heads up so you're aware. Just be sure to have enough time to watch something silly/happy after if you need lol. Oh, if you're already on episode 4, you've definitely seen her - the white eyes and slashed mouth ghost. I just think they did a really good job with her in particular, but also the story as a whole, even if I have a few qualms about a few details lol.

I love that Dan clocked all the info. Also, that he's willing to keep quiet about it all until Ger is ready. Love it.
