Another entitled female. I see the fiancee causing more trouble . As much as I love this series I am disturbed…
I actually thought Pa was going to be an exception after last week's episode 😞 She held her head high and maintained her dignity when Thee refused to float the lantern with her, so it seemed she might not be one to cause trouble. Then here she is now with an extra helping of it like we wanted any in the first place 😒 Gurl, bye. I'm so over the stereotypical female trying to come between the two leads - BL or otherwise. Can women be depicted as accepting defeat and moving on, not scheming to get what they want, please?
I noticed that apparently many people weren't finding romance in others BL.
This! I absolutely agree. I don't mind a good NC scene - provided it works for the story and isn't just filler to satiate whatever demands people make - but actual, genuine romance doesn't feel common anymore. Give me more of the soft. More of the simple. More of the everyday. Show me someone wooing their love, not just jumping into bed with their love. Not to mention, adults. Give me adults who are mature enough to understand romance. I don't mind an occasional university show, but Jiminy Christmas, please! Stop making actors in their late 20s or early 30s play college age kids - usually complete with flashbacks to high school that are supposed to be believable 🙄 Maybe that's another part of why the romance feels so good in this show. They're adults in an adult relationship. *le sigh* Man. This show, these actors? Just top tier 🤌
Oh, this feels so good! And oh, the animosity between them, but all the while the hints of caretaking?! Chef's kiss!
The tarot readings, the cards pulled? The first episode being called The Wheel of Fortune?!?! So well done. I was a little nervous about how they were going to depict the readings, but damn it's been well done. So far at least!
For those who don't know, The Wheel of Fortune card represents the cyclical nature of the world, and what has been set in motion cannot be stopped. It's brilliant to use that as the jumping off point for the show since we just saw In trying to change Thap's fate. But something is already in motion, and (based on the trailer) because it cannot be stopped, forces them together. Which in turn, gives us their growth together over the course of the show. I love it. I'm grinning like a fool.
Memoir of Rati – Floating Lanterns and Feelings GaloreOkay, can we talk about Thee for a second? So I’m watching…
I'm honestly so glad you mentioned Pa. I was genuinely ready to hate her for potentially trying to come between Thee and Rati, but she is so poised and self aware I just can't. It's so obvious she's trying to do the right thing based on familial wishes, but she can see the truth of Thee not wanting to marry, but mostly the truth of Thee and Rati. And her giving him the out while still maintaining her composure? Gurl, yes, thank you! She's gonna hold her head up, and I respect it. I don't think it's going to go well for Thee and the consequences he said he was ready to take responsibility for, though. I mean, Grandma runs that house and she wants him to marry - and his father just cowtows to whatever Grandma wants. I'm gonna hold my breath and cross my fingers for a happy ending, but based on the time and both their family obligations, I don't currently see how it will work out. I have more hope for a MekDech happy ending, since Dech said himself he doesn't listen to anyone anyway lol.
OK, is Thiwthit Tada's half brother or stepbrother? Because the scene when Thiwthit brings the magazine to Tada and says he'll give him anything was creeptastic either way, but if they actually share a father, I want to gouge my eyes out. I just want to smack Thiwthit and his spoiled over-exaggerated facial expressions.
I understand the need for a character like Ruj, but gawd I loathe him so much. Literally everything about him. My genuine hope is for his downfall. Not death, downfall. Be the slave you keep thinking you're so much better than, cretin.
It took me a long time to start this drama because in Fourever You, the character played by Pond was really wrong…
Honestly, HillTer were just boring characters. I read all the books after watching the first season, and I honestly think even the author doesn't care much for them lol. So for how the characters were written, Pond and Earth did a good job. But actors can only do so much with the script they are given, and everything about the HillTer storyline was just kind of blah. So I can totally see how the would put you off. I think Hill and Ter both are better as the side friends than as a main couple. I'm so glad Pond is doing so well with this show, though. Now if we could just get a good role for Earth that's not so whiney 🤞
I believe Armin in the very first episode was in his late 40's and now he is back to being early 20's and doing…
Now that I'm into the show more, I realize the time line and it makes more sense. Personally, I don't see any difference in age other than they gave them different hairstyles and put glasses on Pond. I know the phrase "Asian don't raisin" is a stereotype for a reason, but 26 years is a big gap and it would totally show more than what they did lol.
This may have been answered weeks ago, but I'm just now getting to start this series - how old was Armin supposed to be at the beginning of the series before the reset? Because it went from 2025 to 1999 and everyone looks exactly the same except the hair. That's just a really big jump, especially since the two main actors were born in 1999 and 1998. Is it really supposed to be 1999 when it resets, or are the subtitles incorrect?
OK, I need assistance, y'all. I just moved from the US to South Korea, and all of a sudden almost half my shows are saying "copyright restriction" on iQIYI, this one included. It's also not available on YouTube. I know I can bootleg it, but is there really no other way to watch my Thai shows in South Korea? I'd rather give the royalties to where they should go than bootleg, but I'll bootleg if I have to lol.
OK, I need info about the shirt Phu is wearing while Cir sings to him as the credits roll. The collar of that shirt says "hobi lgbtqia+" in the embroidery - no one will convince me otherwise lol. My brain is automatically going to Hobi, as in J-Hope from BTS, but I really don't think it could actually be him - mostly because I feel like he would not really be allowed to do that, and even if he was the fans would have exploded the internet by now. And trying to search either the words or a reverse search of the image is not yielding any results. Anyone have any idea? (I paused it at 1:03:26 if you need a clear picture of what I mean lol.)
I wonder is Boun is still gonna be in this now that he's signed with GMMTV.
I may be wrong, but I ✨swear✨ I read somewhere that filming is already done, so the cast list should be correct. I'm hoping I'm not wrong, but maybe it was just wishful thinking 😅
OMG why I am I hearing of this just now.!!!!!!! UWMA is my absolute fav thai bl, it was just so heartbreakingly…
This is my ultimate comfort show. I have lost count of the number of times I have watched it. I highly recommend. There are a few time line inconsistencies from UWMA, but it's not terrible. WinTeam are well layered and believable, and all the side characters, including and especially DeanPharm, are well done. I love it so much lol.
Was he actually, though? When Charan went to check, it looked like the guards who were supposed to watch him were the ones taken down and Coach Joe was missing. Did I miss him?
Well, we definitely got one answer, but tons more questions lol. I'm glad we saw more of the political intrigue, despite the fact that I want the answers faster than the episodes are giving them. But we're only halfway, so I understand why the intrigue continues.
Ugh, I'm so glad Mr. High and Mighty King realized Charan is the best to train and care for Khanin. Like, you know his family, you know his skills. Plus, you yourself trust him since you "adopted" him. Who else could you *actually* trust?!
