Douban is the worse rating place ever as the votes can be bought. From memory Till the End of the Moon had an abysmally low score on Douban but still broke lots of records and won lots of awards. A lot of actors from that drama gained lots of recognition and that doesn't happen unless the drama makes some kind of impact.
Watch the first few episodes - if you like it that's great but if not just drop it - there are other dramas, nothing to lose as a viewer!
