Something new to experience lovedd itt ??
From the acting performance to the directing, the camera angle, the writing everything was phenomenal . In each episode you'll certainly get the message " you can't ever predict death " and by that I mean every death scene was so unpredictable it was interesting to watch . Every actor did an amazing job . So happy that park so dam finally made a coneback and was great in it . I was most amazed by Seo In guk's performance, he brings something new to the audience everytime and its always refreshing to see actors who gives a character life . Overall a great watch ..would definitely recommend to peopleAwesome fantasy with unveiling plot with a twist and the interlinking of various lives to portray pain, love and emotion is beyond description. The writer has done a marvelous job with indelible storyline like the Kid's life (Hyeok) and then killing of MMA fighter (Alchemy of Soul lead actor) at the point where he almost got the chance to meet his mother and in the end killing of Do hyun and Go Youn put a stain over my heart as it was excruciating to see them both die by hands of the villain. Surely the second part would be more thrilling and exciting...anxiously waiting 05 Jan, 2024.
#Death's game
Best drama of the year in my opinion.
Couldn’t stop watching every episode until the end and that is rare for me .It has to be something that good like this drama is.
Glad to see Seo In Guk in a good drama .
His best dramas for me were The smile has left her eyes and Highschool king. The other he was in lately were really bad,but this new drama is amazing.Hiighly recommend it.

Crowned By Ambition And Fire
Perfect Crown already feels like one of those dramas people will either obsess over or complain about every week, but still never stop watching. The whole modern monarchy and chaebol marriage contract plot sounds dramatic in the best way possible and honestly, IU and Byeon Woo Seok already look too good together for this drama to fail completely.IU looks perfect as Seong Hui Ju because she has that cold but emotional vibe that makes you want to understand her more. She feels like someone who has everything except the one thing she really wants. Byeon Woo Seok as Prince I-an looks soft, lonely and kind of trapped in his own life, which is exactly the type of character he does best. Their chemistry already feels strong from the teasers alone and the tension between them looks like it will carry the whole drama.
The story itself gives old-school royal romance vibes, kind of like modern royalty dramas mixed with chaebol family fights, power struggles and contract marriage chaos. It feels like the type of drama that will have pretty visuals, emotional scenes, jealous second leads and those moments where you know they are in love before they admit it.
I feel like Perfect Crown could become one of the biggest romance dramas of this year if the writing stays strong. Even people who were unsure after the trailer are still curious because the cast and storyline are too interesting to ignore.
SPOILER ALERT !!!!!!!!
Episode 1 was honestly such a strong start. It gave rich family drama, palace politics and that typical “they hate each other now but will fall later” energy. Hui-ju is already one of my fav female leads because she is not soft or innocent all the time. She knows exactly what she wants and she literally decided that if businessmen are not enough for her, she will go for a prince instead.
The whole palace dinner scene was so tense. Prince I-an showing up late in hunting clothes while everyone was watching was iconic. And then Hui-ju wearing red at the royal event like she did not care about palace rules at all... she really knows how to make an entrance. I loved that both of them are rebels in their own way.
The fire scene was probably the best part of the episode because suddenly everything became darker. When Prince I-an got triggered because of the past king dying in a fire, it made his character more interesting. And when the Queen Mother slapped him in front of everyone, I actually felt bad for him because you can tell he is treated like a threat instead of family.
The ending was crazy too because Hui-ju straight up proposing marriage to him in episode 1 was not something I expected this early. Plus the little reveal that he remembered her from school and secretly changed the rules because of her made their connection feel deeper already.
Overall ep 1 was a bit long but never boring. IU and Byeon Woo-seok already have chemistry and the drama feels expensive, dramatic and addictive. I am already seated for the contract marriage chaos

Watch it or Not ?
Opening Shot: A thunderstorm rages over a mountain. A small, dilapidated building has “Police Line: Do Not Cross” tape stretching around it. Inside a woman’s body is lying motionless.
The Gist: It’s not a dead body we see in the first shot of the series but the very much alive body of Lee Hong Jo (played by Cho Bo-Ah). Hong Jo is a low level civil servant for the city of Onju’s Green Space Division where she responds to the worst complaints the citizens have: she cleans dead fish out of the local ponds, she tries to calm angry residents with noise complaints. While responding to a noise complaint about a construction site working all night, she tries to calm the tension between the workers and their angry neighbors, when one of the men in the construction crew throws himself off the fourth floor and dies.
Six months later, we see a trial playing out and a young lawyer named Jang Sin Yu, played by K-Pop star Rowoon, is defending the construction company in a negligence lawsuit brought by the dead man’s wife. Sin Yu proves he’s clever and cunning, revealing in court that the dead man and his wife planned for him to get injured on the job to collect insurance, and things went awry during his fall. He and the rest of his legal team are ruthless, but his lack of emotion and empathy aren’t his worst trait: He’s plagued by a mysterious curse that manifests in different ways. He has body tremors. When he’s alone, a bloody red hand envelopes his face. It’s not really clear if this curse if truly evil or what, but it obviously haunts Sin Yu every day of his life.
So what brings these two very different people living in very different worlds together?
After a young man who was hiking dies at the site of a mysterious and reportedly haunted temple, Hong Jo goes to investigate the scene of his accident. While she’s there, she gets spooked when she thinks a statue is speaking to her, and she slips and falls, getting knocked out. Sin Yu also happened to be there checking in on it, as his wealthy family owns the shrine and the land it was built on. Eventually, the shrine has to be demolished, but while it’s being torn down, Sin Yu unearths a wooden box buried beneath it. A shaman, a woman who used to live in the temple on the land and obviously knows something about Sin Yu’s curse, tells him that his suffering will end now that he has met the owner of the wooden box. And guess who THAT is…

Salute to the Scriptwriter and ppl who approved these
So Hierarchy bows out with a whimper rather than a roar, with a disappointingly obvious finale and a whole lot of fluff to pad out this chapter. This absolutely did not need to be 75 minutes long and the pacing throughout this show has been really poor. The chemistry between everyone has been bad across the board if I’m honest, and it feels like the creators tried to mimic Elite while also adding in Korean values, and failing spectacularly. None of the characters are particularly likable and the only “good” guy, Kang Ha, is pretty bland on the whole and struggles to stand out.
This one definitely had potential but all of that is squandered in this disappointing foray. Hopefully there won’t be a second season as Hierarchy is definitely not as glamorous and promising as its trailer made it out to be. What a shame.
