I agree.. It's too sad, torturing and heartbreaking. My heart break watching this drama.... I really appreciate this drama.. CY acting is amazing in here.. I cry a river!

Probably the only reason is to prevent them falling in love. They rarely comes out as well.. also to keep a secret that they are the demon. Actually the mask is for this very reason, can't show their emotion, hence keeping the demon secret.
