Does anyone know the name of the song that the assistant guy sung at the karaoke place at the end of episode 8?

I think the employees went to the party because they were a part of the team that was under the ML in the company. Also from what I understood her “husband and kid” were actually at a separate event that just happened to be near - might be wrong though, maybe the employees were required or could bring a plus one or their spouses and children.

I kinda wish that the ML would have driven the line between them a bit sooner, or a bit stronger… or, I think, I just would like to see less of him chasing after FL with almost no respect for himself in the next episodes. Because, boy, I know he likes her, but attraction has limits (especially if it’s someone you knew for a short time), and he cannot like her THAT much… but that’s just my recently developed pet-peeve😅.

I still like him 😅 but I don’t like how he is acting right now, being so selfish/controlling, and I don’t see him ending up with 2FL (or I don’t think that he should) if he keeps the same attitude towards her like right now. But I feel like someone people might be a bit overreacting, calling him a creep/psycho etc. He just got turned into that kinda old-school SML type by the writers but he’s not acting insane yet (as in besides the romance plot he seems totally an okay guy).

I know all that, i don’t know why though I really wanted this kdrama to follow the original in almost identical way, since the original plot seems so “deliciously” sinister which peeked my interest a lot. But of corse adaptations always differ, and usually there’s no problem with that (not that there’s a problem here specifically, just sometimes adaptations go overboard with the changes, I am not saying that it must have happened here).

Honestly I’m just really interested in what exactly they changed (what is different between the webtoon and the show) and how it impacts the story and the motivations, and characterization/personality/mentality and actions of the characters.

Haha. And I like the single parent/single father character troupe, so it’s a plus for me, as well as the reason why I want him to not be a bad character.

@ksvrg You’re not alone, I don’t hate him either. Although he’s been getting on my nerves more and more with each episode, and I don’t support his way of going about the situation, I wouldn’t call him creepy or that he’s more abnormal than other SML characters in love triangles etc. also, besides that plot line (tho it is the main plot so it is bigger and more emphasised that the side-stories, so it’s more important) he’s a nice character so far.

(I don’t ship him with FL at all tho, and he isn’t exactly “deserving” of SFL either right now)

I also still hope that he’ll redeem himself in the next episodes.

I mean, there are still 6 one hour- long episodes left to everything might get resolved.

Hello, I see this has finished airing. Could someone please spare me a bit of their time and tell me, if they stuck to the plot of the webtoon, or if they changed some things (and if they did then what/how)?? I don’t mind spoilers (literally asking for them).

I made a mistake watching this as it is airing… I should have waited and binged it later lol….

yeah, I like the other small aspects of his character, but not the way he acts towards the leads and SFL at this point. It’s frustrating that the writers make him this type is SML…

I don’t think it’s that extremely weird once you see the mechanism and thinking behind it, and it has some good sides too. It’s just a cultural difference, probably stems from Confucianism (I’m not sure though) which has great impact as a part of the culture of South Korea (and China for that matter).

I think SML immediately told SFL the truth because she already met Jun (his son) and talked with him, she already knew the truth but not the situation, if he hadn’t told her then she could have started asking questions while ML was present, which could have actually exposed FL’s secret right there, and since SML agreed to help FL keep her secret he tried preventing that (SFL spilling it out in front of ML) from happening.
