I stumbled across this movie following a Facebook thread and boy am I glad that I did. The acting was superb and the lead actress really brought her character to life. The dynamic between the two leads draws you into the story right from the beginning. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there had been a bit more romance between the two leads. Overall it was worth the watch and anyone who wants a light movie that will make you laugh, gasp and become hungry from all the amazing food shots this film is for you. I will definitely rewatch it at some point.

Love the acting - plot a let down

I am a huge fan of the cast and waited for forever it seems like for Lee Minn Ho's next show after his military service. And the creator of Goblin!!! Very excited and the leading cast had me setting the alarm bell on Netflix and binge-watching the entire season. The series has a strong start, the beginning plot was great but then it started to go downhill in the middle. It seemed so rushed and the storyline lost its luster and became predictable and honestly, I almost didn't finish it. I was disappointed with the ending but even though it was not as good as I had anticipated if you are a fan of great acting and wonderful production it is worth watching. Just don't get your hopes too high on this one.

Feel Good show but slow moving

If you are looking for a drama that is easy to watch and the lead female is smart and strong this drama is for you. The age gap between the leads was a little worrisome at the beginning but it is hard not to root for them to be together. I will say that the show is a little dry to watch and often I was waiting for something big to happen but nothing really ever did. I also wish the love story between the two main leads developed much faster then it did. It was not until the last few episodes that there is much in the way of a love story. But that being said because of the age gap between them it was well done. I wouldn't rewatch it though but it is a good drama to watch for a feel-good show that will have you rooting for all the characters.

Love & Destiny, it was a great story and the idea of love over 3 generations was intriguing. I picked it up because of the acting and all of the cast did an amazing job. The first life story I really enjoyed and was glued to the screen, after that the second life story I found myself skipping through the episodes as it was dragging on and the plot didn't seem to be going anywhere half the time. The 3rd life and the ending was wonderful, it made the drama worth watching. I wish the middle had been shorter or the "tribulations" had been more intense, she didn't really suffer too much I thought. Not compared to other characters from other dramas such as Princess Agents. Overall it was fun to watch and I'd recommend it for any fantasy romance lovers.

Go Go Squid what can I say....They did a fantastic job. The acting was done well by all the characters and I enjoyed the storylines of not just the main characters but the secondary characters as well. The story revolves around gaming competitions and I really liked how there was a contrast between the elder generation and the younger. Gaming competitively is relatively a new thing and making money at it definitely is a foreign concept for some and not seen as a traditional job. The growth of the main character was enjoyable to watch and how he slowly sees how amazing she is. The only thing I did not like is that the Tong Nian is supposed to be extremely smart and accomplished but rarely in the show does she have a chance to shine. It is often centered around him and his accomplishments. It would be nice to see a second season. Overall I'd recommend it.

I was not too sure about this drama from watching the first episode. The opening turned me off but I am glad that I stuck with it. True the lead girl did drive me nuts sometimes and in the back of my mind, I wished she had been more strong-willed and not so dependent on the men around her. However, the story was a good old fashioned romance and played out like a soap drama. If you're in the mood to watch a nice show with a lot of sweet moments Cruel Romance is the one for you. The acting was done really well and the male lead was fantastic. The costumes and glimpse into 1940's Shanghai was also really nice to watch. The only thing I really didn't like was how the characters would change so dramatically so quickly it felt rushed at times and slow at others. Also the last two episodes I wish had been done a little better. Overall it is worth watching but not for everyone.

This show was really very well told and the story development was fantastic. I was hesitant to watch because of the sports theme and the weightlifting aspect. I was not sure what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this for an uplifting romantic comedy. I really enjoyed how the lead male 100% supported the female lead and accepted her for who she was. The acting was also very good and I became invested in all of the characters in the story. The underlying tone of acceptance and team support was also very well built into the storyline. The show also shows how hard work and determination does not always mean you will rise to the best but that it can lead to the happiest version of yourself.
