Chinese audience doesn't need any big reason to degrade the drama ratings,only a single line or single scene is enough for them to reduce the ratings,that's why ratings are not trustworthy nowadays.Also there is hatred, comparison with prequel,sequel or similar kind of dramas,envy of actors,fan wars,rumors scandals etc.We cannot decide whether the drama is good or bad based on rating nowadays which is applied to MDL as well.sometime people reduce the ratings bcoz they support previous dramas 'couple pairing' etc,when actors try to change genre their own fans sometimes reduce ratings,it's a childish game now.

Its clear that it is not a bl drama but there will be a slight romance in this drama.the production team/pr teams clearly knows that many people are speculating this drama as bl drama but they are not trying to clear the smoke instead they are supporting that by releasing posters and teaser where they are shown more like lovers(eye contacting) than just friends.maybe they are enjoying free promotion of the drama.many people on Instagram and twitter believe it is BL and doesn't even know FL exist.Maybe after trailer they will clear this misunderstanding otherwise it will backfire them as people will be disappointed.
