I know what you mean - this is my first time watching Deng Wei and while I think he’s not a bad actor, he looks like a rookie next to the others.

Do try to watch it for Tian Jianci though! It’s my first time watching him as well and I can’t stop even though I know I’ll be heartbroken 😔

I always thought the interest is there but she’s just allowing herself to get to that point because of who he is.

I wonder if XY would’ve used FFB to make Jing jealous if she knew for sure it was XL. It seems that she only thought she was only using a playboy that she just met at this point.

Noooo I don’t believe that. I think she thinks of him as a friend. He is familiar to her and she does like him. Although she won’t allow herself to get too close, she can’t help herself and want him around.

I won’t be able to take it especially since every single scene with them is so deep! You can see the moment he fell in love with her, his sadness and how he’s hurt when she uses him to make Jing jealous. Lets not even talk about the crazy sexy scenes and the ones where he’s helping her without her knowing!

I don’t know what they’re trying to do to us but it’s pretty messed up to play with our hearts like this.

I also read spoilers and it does NOT end well for me - I fell for the wrong ML, 🐍. I want to watch more of him and also want to quit cold turkey because I don’t do well with angst. I decided to stick with it now and brace for it.
