I survived Reply 1988, True Beauty and Hotel Del Luna but I don’t think I’ll be able to for this one if I continue. You’re absolutely right - XL and XY’s story seems to be the main story and everything else is like the side story.

Their connection and chemistry is too good, the story too compelling. I know the other two did their part in saving XY but you can’t compared it to what XL did. Even though they toned it WAY down in the drama it still packed a punch.

I think the key here is the author. I read somewhere that she really wanted XL to be endgame but she just couldn’t figure out how to go about it.

XL’s dedication to the Chen Rong army was always the biggest issue. I know it’s lazy writing but I wouldn’t mind a moment of epiphany for him or something lol
