Y'all, after all of the xyqz of episodes 22-24, I absolutely love, Love, LOVE the ending of episode 25 ... our LinDa Don't Play!!! I would advise Lanxiang not to p1ss her new husband off too badly in the future .... cuz after she dissed him and set hell in him, he went into overdrive, go hard or go home mode ... KML ... talk about a comeback!!!

The whole brothel rescue scene annoyed me for REASONS.
1. The FL is too happy-go-lucky to live. She was not paying attention to her situation, which is how she got here in the first place.
2. The presence of her friend, and that her friend was powerful enough to enter the heavily guarded room, is strictly LUCK / fluke of fate. She did nothing to get out of that situation other than walk away.
3. She left her friend to suffer the consequences, and didn't even hurry back to see if she was okay once she got home.
4. The whole singing on the boat scene was just ridiculous. Scholar Han lost brownie points with me for this. If she hadn't been lucky, he would have been strumming away on that boat while some rich guy took advantage of her innocence. To be fair, the ML would have arrived late, but he would have arrived.
5. The ML was not far behind them; he would have lost time looking for her in the surrounding area, but he would likely have found her that same night.
6. What was that whole "let's sing and plot in the yard" thing all about? Why is our Lanxiang, who normally stays away from revenge and getting back at people, putting herself out in public in front of the very rich families she'd been trying to avoid???
I'm just not happy about this whole situation.

I'm still very unaccepting. I found this annoying. Scholar Han's stock declined with me over this ... smh

How did they know she'd be there??? And that stupid comment about a clever girl like you ... what is so clever about being rescued by a girl you never expected to be there???

I am so relieved I'm not the only one irritated as heck about this section of the drama... and the FL acts like he rescued her!!! Grrr ....

She seems to routinely use such an approach - eliminate all competition before it becomes a problem. If it turns out that Lanxiang is not the problem, well, process of elimination.

The princess saw the flower he was being so careful of . You know she asked those "sweet little sisters" of his all sorts of nosy questions. Then she scouted him - habits, frequently visited places, and she probably already knew the former maid was working there when she approached the store. Seeing the orchid there made her believe - correctly - that the ML had given it to her as a symbol of their relationship.
While she was not completely sure this was the reason, she wasn't taking any chances. Like MLs mother, she assumed ML would value Lanxiang as a concubine at most, and that, like the common orchid, was easily discarded and destroyed.

Unlike the two women before her, who were desperate and calculating, this Princess is crazy. But the real reason she is not phased by the ML's not liking her is because he's a political tool she wants to use. In her mind, both Lanxiang and Lin Jinqi are discardable.

I think the really most galling part for her is that she DID get into all that trouble because of him. To have him not even remember her after all that had to have scraped her last nerve raw.

I'm really worried about what's going to happen to Ji'er...

I can understand where they're coming from, tho ... this is such a FL centric drama, with so many moments limited to her perspective, that if you don't enjoy spending time with the character you're probably not going to have a good time.

This is basically why the sister is so worried that she pulls up her courage to report what she has seen .

A lot of people will talk about the cinematography as well. They've been doing a very good job with making the look of the drama appealing.
