oh in the last scene in episode 24, i finally know the emperor's feelings for tilan. i was also a bit surprised…
I think since the South Palace incident, the emperor started to let Tilan in (to his heart). But it's still ridiculous how he harrassed her to make her suffer just like him 🤦♀️ also as if he will never let anyone enters his heart bcs he doesn't want to forget Zizan. Meanwhile it would be nice if Haishi can become the emperor's trusted friend.
At this point, sometimes I wished Tilan end up like Zizan. She said she never as good as Zizan; The Uncle told…
Tilan's expression said it "why did you always have to compare me with Zizan?" She's sick listening to those words. She knew she's not as good as Zizan, that's why she's been struggling just to survive and endure all the harrassment.
I argued with someone in youtube just now, they said yangmi is too old for haishi role (maybe they never see legend…
I knew about Novoland series for some time, but I have no interest in watching any of them until I saw Yang Mi and William act in it so I've been expecting this for long. I'm not really a fan of Yang Mi, but I like her a lot. Tbh I was shocked seeing Yang Mi playing teenage girl clinging over her shifu. I never like this kind of FL, but I kept thinking that her character will change so I bear with it. Once again if it wasn't bcs of Yang Mi I would skip this one too.
I agree with you But I have grown seed of suspicion for Tilan as well. She clearly not happy with her life with…
Excuse my rudeness. We all know princesses/noble ladies from ancient time couldn't get what they wanted. If their parents were reasonable, they could marry the men they love, but most of them were used as tools for family's sake or political issue. Tilan was raised by learning neccessary skills to attract the emperor and was sent for political issue. She knew she's not wanted by the emperor, and once tried to commit suicide, but the emperor stopped her. She had no other choice but to at least stay alive and continue to accept all the abuse. Another reason, she might sense there is kindness in his evil doings and she is trying to understand him.
As to why she has to sacrifice herself, she is a tool for her country. The only way to protect her country is to beg the emperor. But since the emperor hates her, she had to be Zizan to kick his soft spot. She might think it would go well 🤦♀️ This plot also happened in other dramas I watched. The princess's home country was in danger so she begged the emperor (her husband) to send army to help, but he refused.
I ... I ... I like the second couple more this far.But this series give me 3 couples with totally different delightful…
Me too. I'm more focused on Tilan actually. Bcs no matter what the direction will be, Haishi is loved and supported by many, most likely gets the love from the emperor too, but Tilan is fighting alone.
My heart goes out to tilan she seem most tragic thus far .... i think she was raise with the constant reminding…
I've never seen such a miserable character since Hua Qiangu from Journey of Flower. At least Qiangu is loved and protected by many, but Tilan is literally alone (don't count the maids and General Tang bcs they can do nothing to save her).
Even though I like seeing the emperor and Tilan's scenes, I still can't give blessings to them bcs he treats her…
Tilan is too kind and I hope she stays that way. I don't want her pure soul gets stained in black. Imagine: the emperor wanted her dead, he treats her like shit, she's all alone in the palace, no support, no one to talk to, no one protects nor loves her. She's too obedient and vulnerable. I would run away if I was her.
at this rate, i refuse to see happy ending for the emperor bcs of the way he treating tilan. girl got no respects…
Even though I like seeing the emperor and Tilan's scenes, I still can't give blessings to them bcs he treats her like shit since the start as if her existence is a crime. The emperor is a time bomb for her and her life is hanging on a thread. He must redeem his wrongdoings to her or just let her go to general Tang. At least he loves her.
it was very cruel to kill whole fabric dept ....too cruel. Initially I suspect that only emperor can be that cruel…
Me too. I don't want a love triangle bcs it's like a triple death to Tilan. Judging on the posters the couples are fixed. If the love triangle is the focus here then the posters would be different, isn't it? 🤔
Yang Mi character is so annoying. Can anyone tell me when her character stops being childish? Her childish characters…
I wrote similar comment about how I dislike Haishi's character way down below 😂 I never like a FL shouting "shifu, shifu" all day, daydreaming and ignorant. But Haishi will change. She's slowly changing though, especially when she finally becomes a woman.
Are there any dramas worse than this one? No hating please, whatever it is...it is personal preference.I personally…
Somehow I often stumbled into watching awful dramas. For example: Legend of Zu, The Mystic Nine, A Lifetime Love, When Love Walked In, Flowers in Fog, and a lot more...
Same here, a glimpse here and there made me realize how the screen writer dragged on and on about misunderstandings…
After ep 18 they should've started on two main plots: 1. Investigating the truth behind the village massacre. 2. Working with Qing An to kill Qing Tai with Baoning's weapon invention. But then the writer made a U-turn by adding the useless mom and daughter, more Miaorong & Zhao Xiao, Qing An wasting the dark squad, suddenly the war broke, then 5 years later.... 🙄 the writer even had the fun to create a hole between our couple 🤦♀️
Currently it's not boring. If you like any of the leads, strong heroine, fantasy, war this might be for you. Be…
Me too hoping for a happy ending. I read a lot of novel spoilers from the comments and knowing how much it changed from the novel actually gives me hope... I can't stand another Journey of Flower 😭 really wish the emperor won't marry/love Haishi bcs I'm rooting for Tilan. She deserves to be happy after all those... besides, she's all alone in the palace, no support, and the emperor is like a time bomb for her.
Wow I just realized that! RFY is currently in a mess. I feel tired watching it and want to rest until next week's…
The whole plot drown into a mess starting from ep 19. Then it focused too much on Miaorong, threw away the 2 main plots, and suddenly they had time warp to 5 years later 🙄 instead of finding the truth and do something about Qing Tai, the writer decided to put those lunatics into the spotlight 🤦♀️ who cares about them? Seriously.
As to why she has to sacrifice herself, she is a tool for her country. The only way to protect her country is to beg the emperor. But since the emperor hates her, she had to be Zizan to kick his soft spot. She might think it would go well 🤦♀️ This plot also happened in other dramas I watched.
