Based on my understanding:
1. Saeyan is back to Korea to find her first love aka Goon.
2. Goon and Saeyan are each other's first love.
3. Goon lost his medal when he was drowned and saved by Saeyan. Means Saeyan found the medal and had been keeping it.
4. Shin feels guilty bcos he was the cause of Goon's injury which ended his career.
5. Their parents put the pressure on Shin to fill in Goon's spot.
6. About the shoes, the ceo knew that Shin is taking meds (and other secrets). To shut down and prevent any rumors to spread, they need money to bribe the papz and media.
7. Their parents want Shin to be successful, and the ceo sees him as a gold mine. He is almost like a puppet, having no time for himself and do what he wants.
8. Due to the parents different treatments towards their kids, the brothers grew distant after the injury.
9. Juyeon's mom said she subconsciously followed her dad's steps and became a doctor.
10. Seems like Juyeon lost parts of her memories or more specifically, her childhood memories due to a trauma after seeing her father died.
11. Juyeon coldly rejected Goon for the Nth time. Goon is upset, however he can't really give up on her.
12. A romcom isn't a romcom if there is no love triangle. The writer created a hole between Goon and Juyeon so Shin can enter. This will create new dynamics and will give the main couple a chance to start anew.

The brothers already grew distant due to the injury and their parents. Which is why Shin said "So you have good memories about me" to Goon. It says a lot...
Also Shin also keeps a lot of secrets from Goon. He isn't innocent and is afraid if Goon finds out the truth.

Saeyan is Goon's real first love.

I think it's not that Juyeon doesn't know Shin is Goon's brother. Shin doesn't know Goon claimed Juyeon as his first love and she never tells Shin about this. The ending on ep 6 is more like Juyeon didn't expect Shin would come. Imagine how she should explain it to Shin. Just like when Goon found Juyeon in his house, she had a hard time explaining.

Of course, bcos most viewers are female. So even if the ML is a jerk, they will love him anyway. But when the FL is strong and doesn't give a shit to ML, they will hate the FL. Nowadays red flag ML has been booming, readers and viewers love this kind of ML just bcos the illustrations and actors are handsome.

Juyeon is a strong and independent FL who is dedicated to her work, but she also suffers from trauma and struggles in social life that her peers don't care about her. Somehow I feel that Goon and Juyeon are similar, it's just Goon lost his self esteem, while Juyeon is proud.

At this point I'm actually wishing for different pairings. Goon x Saeyan, Juyeon x Shin. Reasons:
1. Goon and Juyeon don't love each other.
2. Goon and Saeyan were each other's first love.
3. Goon's infatuation to Juyeon is a mistake or should we say, fake. While Juyeon feels responsible with Goon as doctor to patient.
4. Juyeon heals Shin's heart and she is the only one who asks about his feelings.
5. Juyeon might be the first woman Shin ever likes.
6. Shin and Juyeon's interaction is more natural and somehow when one of them is in trouble, the other appears.
7. Even though Goon and Juyeon eventually fall in love, once the truth is out, it will be harmful to both.

The actor playing as Teo sunbae is so my style! Especially with that hairstyle, he looks so much like my fav game character. I'm weak when I see a man who is physically look like that character, just like the man in my current pp 🤭 Such as shame that Teo is a jerk.

After TSL she's taking a long list of short dramas! I guess bcos it is shorter to film considering her busy study life.

Wow the third reunion between He Xuanlin and Gao Mingchen! This time she is playing a badass FL! He Xuanlin is taking the throne for short drama princess!

Gosh will this be another asshole ML in short drama? I saw the ML in Revenge of the Begonia with Hong Xiao and his chemistry with her is sizzling and thankfully his character isn't a red flag. Let's see his chemistry with Xuanlin then.

FYI in case you didn't know. This is the Nth remake of the famous The Legend of The Condor Heroes by Jin Yong. Guo Jing is indeed very stupid, slow witted, innocent, too kindhearted, and forgiving. Novel fans hated Guo Jing the most out of the 3 male leads from the Condor Heroes trilogy (Guo Jing, Yang Guo and Zhang Wuji). So it is not a matter of "a 2024 drama" bcos the source novel is very old. The earliest tv adaptation was made in 70s!

I have never seen any poster, teaser, or birthday wishes from this drama.

I watched this for Yang Mi and bcos people said this drama is so good. But then my heart was all over Lai Yi. He is way sexier here than in TMOPB 🤭 But sadly, Lai Yi alone couldn't help me get through this drama. I stopped watching at ep 20 and jumped to the last eps to know the ending and whether he is alive. I wish Lai Yi could get more leading roles or at least SML, as good as Zong Yue.

Different people, different taste. My mom, her friend and her friend's husband all said Chen Yuqi is great in acting. Just like when I think 2 of the super popular actresses's acting are terrible no matter how people praise them. It means I have different taste with them. That simple. The difference is I don't mock them, I stay away.

Let's pray that Chen Yuqi will gain weight bcos apparently international viewers are so bothered with her eyes that have puffy eyebags which appear when she is tired or when she loses weight. Sadly in China they prefer super skinny girls. So Chen Yuqi has to follow the beauty standards in China. Compared to when she filmed TLLTM and ATWIL where she was chubby and cute.

It has been more than a year and a half but the staff never released anything. Every time there is a festival, I hope to see a poster or teaser, but nothing. I once saw that this drama has obtained distribution license long ago. Strawbear isn't a small PH, so what happened? They filmed this drama in secret and then put it on the shelves?

Dozens of dramas have finished filming years ago, but still have no news about airing dates nor even teasers and posters, some of them are on my list as well. Those dramas from 2017-2018 finally able to air 4-5 years later.
