She has built a steady popularity and fandom bcos she has been in this industry since 2006. She has a wide range of characters and genres. Her dramas get decent scores on douban too. Along with Yang Mi, Liu Shishi, Liu Yifei, Tang Yan, they are the top actress from the 85 liner.

She got married with Feng Shaofeng and no, he didn't help her to rise to popularity. She was already a top actress, way above him. He isn't that popular in China despite being a senior actor. As a fan of this title, I find it amusing bcos I really like Kaoru in the manga/anime and loved how somehow she connected to Enishi at the end as they spent time together. That is how Enishi showed more emotions. But i hate Kaoru in live action bcos she's so useless and keeps screaming "don't kill!!" during live and death battle 😒 yeah she should say that to Saito, Aoshi, Misao (she kills too), and perhaps if she lives with Shishio, he would never kill again 🤣
Another thing is there is no chemistry between Kaoru and Kenshin, while the chemistry between Kenshin and Tomoe was on fire.

Also, I really hate Misao in the manga/anime bcos she is so childish, reckless, noisy brat. But Misao in the live action is so likeable, strong, and determined. No wonder people really like Misao in live action compared to Kaoru.

I saw the trailer and thought this is really scary, but... NOPE. It is NOT scary at all. It's laughable. It was scary during their first night. That's all.

Basically this is a youth movie about a group of strangers who become best friends due to a circumstance.

Another thing that killed off the movie is Asuka, the useless FL. For God's sake, she's slow, dumb, useless. She just stands when everyone is in danger. They always have to protect her while she does NOTHING. I really want to spank her with the pipe they have 😡 I didn't even feel emotional during sad scenes bcos Asuka successfully killed the atmosphere 😴

Damn! I miss s2 participants! I've been stalking to TianYi cp. I knew QiWen cp just got engaged and Wupei whom said she was engaged during the shooting on season 3. Perhaps we can expect more news? 🤭

No, I mean they all have to introduce themselves and get to know each other again after they got used to their own group. It's different when gaining 1-2 new members than meeting a whole new group. So I hope it won't take too long until both groups gather.

I want to like this season and I actually did. I really like Jimin despite her lack of experience in love and men. I like her personality since she's an ESFP. Jumi is amazing and as usual, none of the guys actually care to spend time to see her worth. Hooshin is better than I expected.

Ever since I saw the spoiler, whether it's true or not, I lost my interest bcos of the cast and the progress. It's already episode 8. Still a long road ahead 🙄
