I see them. But I see it as Character development. RSB had to harden herself and LJL did become smitten . But it goes into the theme Glory for the Rong family name is what I'm thinking they are veering towards

Some of the comments on here make me think of people are getting the story line at all. Why you expect LJL to be different or think he's changed to a weak person or RSB too ruthless. they have both been cunning in different ways since the first episode. Even with his memory loss he declared that he's faithful to her for the rest of his life and was willing to marry into the family through and tricks and means. When he got his memory back he continue to say it. RSB stuck to her true self. She's the head of the family. She had to think of everything as a whole.And she says multiple times she doesn't lose and doesn't like to lose. As for her expression, it's the perfect poker face. That's why the other characters reference that it's hard to read her.

Meaning every schemes thrown at her either from her sisters, the men etc. someone always trying to outsmart her. the bad guys. Are you getting the plot that there's someone always after? framing her since the beginning of the series?

Idk why these people still don't see through it. In all dire situations that RSB is in, a normal prison would panic and stress. get anxious AF. cry their eyes out. but she's always compared and calm. whenever she has that regal calmness about her I laugh because I anticipate what she's got cooking.

And the case was given to him by corrupt officials because no one could solve it before. Those who tried either died or got demoted.
