is this worth watching?

I had to change my rating from 8 to a 10. this is the most satisfying ending and all around plot Cdrama I've watched all year and Cheng Lei Best for me. Also Wang Chu Ran. Humor wasn't over the top. just right. The dad parts have enough tears. I love it. Best drop to start 2026. I say it's equal with Dream within a Dream.

No. it's about biochemistry using human experiments turning a human to mutate. it's taken from the idea of Japan Unit 731. you should read the history on it. it's quite sad and horrific. the drama depicts what they did during WWII was crime

Me too! I haven't cried in a Cdrama in a while. I love that there's no annoying second leads of unrequited love or obsessions. this is clear understanding of each other.

I didn't think so. I mean you already pretty much know the idea of the brother plotting against him. I'm having a feeling the step dad has something to do with his dad fall. I slip to the important conversation and interactions. The Romances and chemistry for me feel teenagish. Not for someone who's their age range in career lineup. I was hoping for a more "Stand or Fall" kind of romance maturity level. The second leads romance seems more realistic

I had to stop at episode 21. I was really trying to finish it before How Dare You and Unveiled Jade wind come out, but the pacing was too slow even with skipping scenes. Maybe I'll squeeze in a bit of episodes in between the other two

I see them. But I see it as Character development. RSB had to harden herself and LJL did become smitten . But it goes into the theme Glory for the Rong family name is what I'm thinking they are veering towards

Some of the comments on here make me think of people are getting the story line at all. Why you expect LJL to be different or think he's changed to a weak person or RSB too ruthless. they have both been cunning in different ways since the first episode. Even with his memory loss he declared that he's faithful to her for the rest of his life and was willing to marry into the family through and tricks and means. When he got his memory back he continue to say it. RSB stuck to her true self. She's the head of the family. She had to think of everything as a whole.And she says multiple times she doesn't lose and doesn't like to lose. As for her expression, it's the perfect poker face. That's why the other characters reference that it's hard to read her.

that's what I heard. I'll give it a try after this is finish. lol
