It points it she's the "New Moon" without the mark on her arm like the others and no one can see her mom phase but Wangyun. She's an important person for the Villain Jui Yui. Why does she look like Dhu Zhi from 1000 years ago. A part of Jui Yui fragment is inside her, for them to win over evil, Ji Ling said he knows that she's going to have to die that's why he wants to make her happy. Her identity and purpose in all this seems like it's kept from her.
