Ahh… I missed the JFF. Thanks for the article. I just added more J movies to my forever long “Plan to Watch” list. I have been watching a lot of cooking/food movies lately. This is awesome.
Really Beautiful landscape. I would love to visit some of the shrines and temples in India. Some villages seems too clean in this movie. Learned some Buddhism teaching and history from this movie. There are some miss and odd Eng translation, but this is a hard one to translate, as the movie contain several languages and dialects. By the way 㳣師 means “teacher” not “vulnerable”. I wish he mentioned what happened to the old horse that accompanied him to India, or maybe he left that horse in the last village !?
Huang Xiau Ming, I have seen several of his great performance films, this one should won him some award.
I like Tsuchiya Tao’s job. Go around taste all the good food. Wish I have a job like that, LOL. The drum beating background is so unnecessary. Wow, I didn’t know grill beef is so popular in Japan. Now I want to taste some good grill beef.
I have only seen Iwata Takanori in romance movies. His acting here is perfect. I think he only showed his cute smile about 1/2 way point, LOL. Plot twist. From his expression at the beginning, I sense something, keep watching. The end part is the best. One of a good one to watch
If you are tired of suspense, thriller, murder, intense movies, watch this. It put a smile on my face, a few tearing moment too. The Asadas family is the cutest. Such a supporting lovely parents. Loving them. Two of my favorite actors Suda Masaki and Ninomiya Kazunari together, their acting was perfect. Story was even better. Worth watching. The last scene was hilarious 😂.
Well, there must be a drama that is the first in the rankings, and I think this one is a good choice, even though…
Ya, Hospital Playbook has all the elements that is likable. It has intensity, romance, humor, music, youth, fun, professional, great acting etc. If the hospital in Korea actually perform like the drama, I hope I won’t be the patient there one day. Haha… Actually most medical drama including the Western countries one are not reality at all.
