Er langs wife Liu ran is one of the most irritating characters of all c dramas I’ve seen. She wasn’t stupid just so unaware. I could stand it all the way until she blabbed about the manuscript in front of the house with the help and doors wide open. Let her be kidnapped. Otherwise I did enjoy this drama!

I thought this drama was a scary zombie show so I passed on it for 3 yrs. Went in for XZ but ended up loving WYB. I guess it’s the strong silent type he portrayed. Show was kinda slow moving in parts but I ended up really liking it. The OSTs were so heart wrenching I cried every time I heard it.
