There is no way you'll be burned out by ep 11! 40 episodes with 15 minutes each, it's the same as the standard Jdrama 10 episodes @1 hour each. I think they just break it down shorter dramas cos nowadays people don't have time, patience, and attention span to watch long dramas ;D

I don't disagree with you. I don't have time to read this novel but I read its last chapters and epilogues to find the proper ending (if you know what I mean ;D). But I read entirely the other Jiu Lu Fei Xiang's novel Zhao Yao, cos I was confused by The Legends' bad editing. I found the novel fun to read with her witty writing style. No wonder she's famous there in China.

So if after watching tons of drama with mainstream themes you usually watch, you want to try something different, then this is it. In the beginning, it seems boring because YJB's character Ji Hyo experienced something in her childhood that makes her want to live as normal as possible, or in the audience's view is as boring as possible. The first episodes set up her normal life, then the drama gradually reveals her past as well as escalates to the mystery. I think South Korea/Netflix doesn't want to claim that aliens do exist by making a full fledge UFO drama, although it ends with an open interpretation of whether aliens do exist or not. If you don't like the slow introductory part but still want to check it out, I suggest you read recaps on Ep 1 and 2 found on the internet, so you have a basic understanding of what happens before you jump into the suspense ;D I gave this an 8.0. It's good, but not great, I'm still not used to sci-fi/cult dramas ;D

I don't think it will be repetitive. I posted above that each brother has his own romance story arc per 6 episodes. I think they will also mend their relationship with Mom, but each has a different past/background with her. Like after watching Ep 1 now, seeing Itch keeps a family pic with his dad and stepmom, not him and Mom, my hunch tells me Mom was not in the picture before. Probably she was poor or had a difficult life because he was raised by a stepmom.

Boy 11 - the head of the pack (15 years old). My guess is Sung Hoon based on age. Boy 7 - the most coward one (second in the row when they're running away) - 15 years old, now it's actually Ahn Boy 12 - the one who fell into the hunter's trap while running away - 13 years old, I guess it should be Charles if still alive Boy 13 - Yoon Jae. The youngest 11 years old, is most likely the killer. Some of us say it's In Sung but everyone in the drama believes it's Sung Joon including himself has a memory his previous name is Yoon Jae. Boy 24 - 15 years old most likely dies hit by a truck during the escapade.
I'm not sure about the relationship, but Boy 11 and Yoon Jae both wear the same necklace as the girl who was raped (most likely she dies), and they are in a picture together. Also, during the escape, Boy 11 told Boy 12 to "go to Mom". Not sure who 'Mom' is and if they're related.

Unfortunately, every one of us believes that Boy 24 dies. Remember in Ep 1 the pickup truck hits a boy twice and then the boy is dragged to Baek? When they lay down the body, a pool of blood comes out of the head and drips down onto Yoon Jae's face (seen in the first GIF). With that much blood out it seems he dies.
