I watched Triad Princess long time ago so I don't remember him there, just he was supposed to be her fiancee?…
Yes you are right! It's a good premise, mafia boss' daughter who fangirling a movie star but supposedly lives under the radar meets him who supposedly lives in the spotlight. Bad executions though the gangsters are funny. Not sure why it flops, but I doubt it will have S2 cos usually producers will make S2 if S1 is a success
Great article! I've watched the first half of the drama.. and I was following too many dramas lately. So I couldn't…
lol... I hope you still remember the story. I don't usually hold on dramas cos I won't remember the story at all. Yeah, the subber is outstanding. Very few do that

So he is the fiancee then right? Since it's Netflix I think they hinted for season 2 or something, when the fiancee is back alive? Or I watched something else, lol. You know Netflix sometimes makes open ending dramas like that
I first saw the actor for the ML, Tsao Yu Ning, in Triad Princess too. At first, he didn't stand out to me either…
I watched Triad Princess long time ago so I don't remember him there, just he was supposed to be her fiancee? But I thought her fiancee is the villain?
I have noticed that they picked up subbing and then later on the dramas caught attention from big media and they too start subbing. I just found out today from commenters that big Youtube channels picked the drama up because it gained popularity. But I still like PP because of their explanation
Thank you for your wonderful article. I actually watched this drama earlier but dropped it at episode 2 because…
yeah I can understand with the scene change to the past that can be confusing to explain the events. It seems like the drama doesn't give explanation because of the shortness of episodes. I actually saw this kind of flashback in the drama Where the Lost Ones Go and Fall in Love that also use frequent flashbacks. Probably if the drama just colors everything in brown/white or black/white for past scenes then it will be easier lol. All I can help you is by watching at the clothing the main leads are wearing. In flashback scenes the clothing are rundown, faded, dirty, also their hairstyle and the FL in particular looks immature/young. In present they're fashionable. Also the flashback story in earlier episodes are just to explain to us about the couple's past relationship so don't worry about the scheme thing it will be reveal later
Well it's not that dark, it's kinda grey. There are funny moments. You'll like it!
lol... I haven't seen like this lately to recommend (short, working adult, real kisses) and I'm not good in remembering dramas cos my preference is so wide I could almost watch anything... but you can check the forum here or just post a recommendation request of criteria you're looking for: https://mydramalist.com/discussions/recommendation-forum
I know right! Just reading their synopsis makes you yawn already... same tropes. We only watch them cos so and…
yeah I researched this topic (left over women in China) when I was writing an article of Forever Love. They even have Chinese saying: it's better crying in a BMW (or Mercedes?) than laughing on a bike. It means it's better you are married (but unhappy) to someone (you don't love) who provides you than you're married for love to a poor man. Since you like Qin Lan, probably you want to try Rational Life. Also with her. But I don't watch it, as actually noona romance is not my favorite trope
how did you find my article? it's supposed to be published tomorrow ;D
lol I don't know if I am a subject folks are talking about. However, I agree with your funny comment 'like they’ve never seen the opposite sex' before, Probably it's hard to kiss when the whole crew are staring at you... but that is what professionalism is about ;D
Yeah, the subber is outstanding. Very few do that
