Controversial. Which isn't a bad thing. I think it's great to have people taking. There's so much nuance in these episodes. Is it right, is it wrong? Can it be both.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed it, Very satisfying. Act like an adult, get adult consequences. They picked the right country to make this show. Korea's bullying problem needs to be highlighted.
Now if you look at this from a real life perspective, something like the ERPB would work at first but inevitably become corrupt and fertile land for disaster. With people abusing their power and becoming the true bullies. So I'm glad it's just a TV show.
Plus it's from the same universe as Study Group so it's inevitable that it's a little over exaggerated, not to be taken too seriously.
Not what I was expecting.. really enjoying it though.
The ml is cold and intimidating at first, after amnesia he is bubbly and sweet. I don't mind him now, but I hope we see him as the prince again. He had so much auraπ The plot is moving forward in a good pace. Don't worry guys, he doesn't stay as a kid for long. The kid actor is great though, a lot of funny moments.
Hate to compare, but so far our mc is a better female general than LOTG. Using a bow and arrow in close combat is ridiculous, but she's great at it. I can tell that she would be an absolute monster if she used a sword as her main weapon. She's smart, her fight scenes are realistic. She cant take 12 dudes on at a time. She's not the best at strategy (from what we see so far, the trap etc) but she has heart, cares for the people and doesn't desire war. I like her so far.
The whole vampire/werewolf plot with the ML is so unhinged, was not expecting it. But I'm here for it ππ Ryan Cheng in his white hair era π₯΅
Legend of the female general.. what legend? What general? Got me hyped up for what? Nothing???
I walked into this expecting political intrigue, high stakes and a deep introspective dive into the "female generals" life. What I got was a romance plot, with a dash of politics and war. Where was the revenge, where was the rage expected of a female general? You know whose own blood killed her? For a general she was pretty weak, could have had her as a foot soldier and it would be realistic. I loved her and all but they could have swapped her with a court lady and the plot would have pretty much stayed the same.
I hate comparisons. But I cant help but think Yun gi is like an evil Suho and Euigyeom is like season 1 Sieun but instead of a study kink he's got a choking kink... slay.
hi, can you tell me the relation between Jung Se Ok and Seo Yeong Ju? are they partners? (fyi. i haven't watch…
I think he likes her and vice versa. They loosely mention it at some point. But then its insinuated that she likes him like a possesion. The convo was weird, like it was serious, yet so casual it could be a joke. Idk they have a very nuanced relationship. Kinda up to interpretation.
Don't understood the hate. Like since when did people not give reasons as to why they dont like something? I want well written reviews, like explain what made the second half so bad? Cause in my opinion, it was consistent from start to finish. The female lead isnt meant to be likeable. She isnt a charismatic killer, but an extremely weird and annoying one. The other prof indirectly warned us about her annoying self in the beginning, so I dont understand why ppl are so upset about not liking her character.
I liked the open ending. People forget that cliff hangers are a part of story telling. You arent meant to recieve the answer to the what, why and whos. This is where your imagination and critical thinking comes in.
Anywho, 8/10, really enjoyed it. Cried towards the end.

There was action... a lot of it. Storyline moved fast, except from the flashback episodes. But they were interesting. The whose season was setting the stage for season 2. Which i think it did brilliantly

Should've called it Romance of the Female Solder.
