We have Weiwei's Love of The Divine Tree, Xixi's Shui Long Yin, LuLu's Moonlight Mystique (our 8pec Jing Mie & Water Diety have support roles here too!) Foxy PianRian's The Blossoming Love. I will be getting some eye & liver supplements to cope with all these dramas! Hahahha
Other non CDramas include: Sandman S2, Kaiju No 8 S2, Stranger Things S5 (probably the last season 🥲), The Witcher (though I am not sure if I can stomach it without Henry Cavill!) and Wednesday S2.

The reality of the world is that financial gains trump artistic freedom. We have heard reuters of sponsors dictating how they want the story to unfold resulting in book adapted dramas having to be edited. Which gets us getting a half baked story and making the readers of the book cringe and cry foul.
And yes, that 40 episode cap contributes to the script mess as well.

At the point in time when LSS meets TTJ, he is unaware of his fate. He was a struggling hostage prince just fighting to stay alive amidst some very bad living conditions. ADG was also still pretty much dormant during that time though he appears in TTJ's dreams during the times TTJ is close to death.
