He did in the later episodes because he was "reconstructed" using blood from TTJ. So he kinda got that mad love for Susu from TTJ's Susu-obsessed blood. LOL You will get what I mean when you get to those episodes. Otherwise as Micha says, Jiwu and Susu have a platonic relationship, she is his "sister" and he is her "brother".

Stay strong! FYI - we cried our way through the drama too. The amount of tissues used up was by the boxfuls each week. We wanted to put in claims to Youku for tissues and our therapy sessions with the psychiatrist. Mental health was on the rocks. Livers malfunctioning and eyes gone blurry...
We also recommend folks to stop at EP 35 for a happy ending, because after that, the angst picks up big time. 😅
Oh...you can watch Love is Sweet after this drama to soothe your heart. This drama is where TTJ and LSS get their shot at a happy ever after, at least to us it is. LOL

Mmmm...Kaiju No 8? I did not hear many people mention it. Maybe it is popular but not mentioned in MDL?
Anyways...It's a Japanese Anime. You can watch it on Netflix. The lead character was hilarious. He was kinda of like mopping around and felt like a loser. One day, whilst minding his own business, a small Kaiju (monster) invaded his body. Next thing he knew, he woke up at the hospital and transformed into a Kaiju. In a funny scene, his trusty sidekick came to save him and whilst they were running away, he felt the need to pee. But since he now has the body of a Kaiju, he is not sure how a Kaiju body works and was feeling funny and next thing he knows, pee is coming out from ... not gonna spoil it for you but it was unexpected and hilarious. He nearly died of embarrassment. Hahahaha😂🤣🤪
The story line is interesting too. And it's gonna be a quick watch because there are only 12 episodes and each is only about 20 min if one skips the intro and end credits.
Go catch it for the laughs and the action and some touching scenes.
