I enjoyed Peter Jackson's trilogy. I watched it in the cinemas, butt was cramped, eyes red from bawling and still giving it 2 thumbs up. It's a classic right up to today. A labour of love. Can feel and see it.
Against my better judgement and at a fellow LOTR fan's recommendation, I attempted the first season of Rings of Power. I could not help but notice all the not so good things. Like the costumes. Those are such a big part of the story, why so stingy on the look and feel of characters? The costumes look like the discarded dishcloths of the Peter Jackson LOTR elves. 😆🤪 That is as nicely put as I can. LOL I was so distracted by the not appropriate quality of this and that in the drama, that I guess I did not enjoy it as much.
My friend reminded me of S2, I have no motivation to watch it. I wonder why. Hahhahaha....

They initially tried to get around this by changing the names of the characters and the drama, but it looks like that is not working either.
I hope they sort out the copyright issue, otherwise another great drama would be banished into Dungeon of Forgotten Dramas. Noooo....I wanna see Deng Wei as a hot villain. 🥲🤪

Costumes are gorgeous, actors are gorgeous, the chemistry between the lead couple is FIRE. The answer is YES! Please watch it.

Regarding TTJ making LSS fall asleep, TTJ loved LSS a lot and wanted her to live. We also wondered if it was because TTJ with the DG's powers sensed that LSS was pregnant and wanted her to live so that she can give birth to their child. LSS was also needed to guide the new world. It must have been chaotic in the aftermath with Demons, Immortals and Humans all having to live and work together.
But go read the novel ending, for that proper ending we all wanted to see. 🥹🥰😊
