Yes! I tried watching both POB and LZH concurrently, but failed. LZH totally drew me and I paused POB to focus on LZH. Now when I try going back to watch POB, I find that I can't continue. 😅 LOL
POB had a shirtless bathtub scene for Pak Liu (Pytheo's nickname for LYN. LOL), he was very toned. But, once you see XiaoZhan's shirtless bathtub scene and his other shirtless scenes in LZH, it's 😍🤌🤤. Sorry LYN, though I like you too, game over. XZ wins. 😂🤪
Last but not least, in fact most importantly, the storyline. It is exciting, keeps you guessing and the pacing is good. But I wished they could be more thorough in explaining certain details. I blame that on the 40 episode cap. Those other details are interesting and will help to explain better, but when cut, do not impact the story too much.
Better watch without going into the LZH MDL page and social media - IG and X have spoilers are all over the place and takes the fun out of guessing who is what in that drama. I was glad I binged because when I opened IG, first thing I saw was a spoiler for the ending. Noooooooooo😬HAHAHAHAHA 🤪

Yes, some plot holes. Maybe I missed it? But they did not explain his other shifu's tattoo who perished in the flames and not much back story basically on both his shifus. It's that dang episode cap I tell you, so they had to take out interesting details that in the end did not impact the story but it's irky to viewers like me. LOL But will definitely give this a 10, it is still a good watch.

Right? Like how come the ZBW dude is ok and not the emperor. And all he did was stare into the stone. LOL Maybe not enough time to show what happened. I was guessing that in view of a 40 episode cap, they had to cut out things that are interesting but no impact on the final story. I think this drama might have needed another 5 episodes as I think there are other parts of the story that they just had to just breeze through. Anyways...

I feel in a way the Duke and Eunuch were collateral damage. If young ZBW had not stopped young Eunuch Cao from helping the drowning boy, things might have turned out differently. At least those 2 were "honest" villains who were outright villainy. LOL ZBW looked like such a righteous guy but in the end he was the worst. 😓

Yes, only 4 days left including today. Just too short. Sometimes I miss the days before the 40 episode cap rule. I think that gives more room to develop characters. With the 40 episode rule, they sometimes can't. You know that part where ZZX becomes BFFs with the guy who bullied him and the team captain. They did not show how it happened, not enough episodes. So yeah, 60 episodes would do better justice to this drama. But oh well. 🤷🏻♀️
I am going to rewatch after the show ends. We should have a rewatch party here after the drama ends it's run. 🤪😁👍

But then again with LZH, nothing is in black and white, just shades of grey. Maybe another innocent-looking person that we did not even suspect is the 3rd villain. And then it turns out it was espionage.
