I am enjoying the Creation of Gods too. Hardly can find our TTEOTM alumni Eddy. Sighs. Looks like in Chinese history, there could have been a lot of hostage prince and princesses. Not so great after all to be born into the royal family, especially if you are not the favourite child. Like our TTJ. 😅

Welcome to the club. Most folks hated the character Bitchang. Yes, that is what we call her here. LOL I cried my eyeballs out for Prince Xiao Lin especially at the scene where Bitchang read the letter he wrote her in jail . He deserved someone better. 😢 During the later arc, I guess the producers gave her a chance at redemption by having her save Gongye JiWu. If I remember correctly, the novel does not have that scene.

We feel you. When we watched the drama when it first came out, we were not satisfied with the ending and wanted to knock the heads of the producers for concluding the story like so. But we also understood that they had a 40-episode constraint. If they could have the usual 56 to 60-episode drama like before, I am sure they would have done better for the ending.
In the novel, it was a happy ending. We felt much comforted after reading those chapters. You can find the translated chapters of the ending in the discussion threads above Chapters 126 to 131.

It is an open ending for the drama.
Likely the producers did not have enough episodes to squeeze in a proper happy ending as per the novel. We all read the translated actual ending after watching it to episode 40. You can find it in the discussion threads above Chapters 126 to 131. Wished they could have added that happy ending into the drama. But yeah, if your heart will not be satisfied reading the novel and you want a visual happy ending, then stop at episode 35.

LSS is torn between her mission and her feelings which causes her to blow hot and cold. She was also traumatised by the killing of her loved ones by the Devil God who looks just like TTJ before she arrived in the body of Ye Xiwu. That is a lot to process.
The remedy of getting rid of the Devil God forever would be to remove his evil bone and then kill the body ie TTJ. LSS has to prevent TTJ from dying because if he died there and then with the evil bone in him, he would have transformed into the Devil God immediately and her mission to prevent that from happening. So much as she is sometimes angry with him, she has to save him.
She does love him without knowing it. Remember the episode where LSS was looking at the number of spikes she had collected and thinking to herself that the spikes she collected are so sharp and it would hurt TTJ a lot when she plunges all of them into TTJ's heart. I don't think one would even bother unless one cares about the person. But that is her mission.
This drama had to cut out many scenes to be able to air as a 40 episode drama. It was originally much longer, about 56 episodes. When we first watched it, we also found some parts to be abrupt, especially towards the final arc. I think it would be better to read to novel to get a better understanding of the characters.
After reading this and you still do not like LSS, it's ok ya. We are all different and of course have different points of view.
