These are the dramas that I find absolutely perfect. Most dramas don't fall into this category because I have never watched a 10-star rated drama ... yet. However, I'm a picky drama watcher, so if a drama falls into this category initially, then I can personally guarantee that you're going to enjoy it too. These dramas come highly recommended by yours truly.

8.0 - 8.5

Essentially, these dramas may have started out in the 9-star rated category and they simply fell as the drama progressed. Dramas in this category are still pretty good; don't be mistaken. However, it usually means there's something that happens in the story that I can't get past. For transparency's sake, there are some dramas in this category that should probably be in the ranking below. What usually happens is that the leads and the essence that they bring to their characters leave such a lasting impression on me that I put those dramas here instead of below.

7.0 - 7.5

Average. These dramas are your run-of-the-mill average dramas. They're not great, they're not horrible. They're simply ... okay. Most people would still enjoy these dramas but there's just something missing. With these dramas, I find that the story is always lacking. The acting and the chemistry between the cast are usually doing a LOT of heavy lifting for these dramas. The story/plot typically makes no sense or it merely falls apart by the end of the drama if you really hold it up to the light, so to speak. What sets this rating apart from the rating above is how I feel about the characters, sometimes. Not all the time, but sometimes.

6.0 - 6.5

This is a very interesting rating spot for me, personally. I can't quite put my finger on it but most dramas don't land here initially. These dramas are typically run-off from the ranking above. There are a few popular dramas that were placed above but eventually, they fell to this rating. These dramas are weird because they're not quite average but they're not quite abysmal either. It's hard to explain. As I look at the dramas on my watchlist that fell on this ranking, most of them are forgettable. Most of them are dramas that I have little to no memory of even watching but I know I did. Essentially, they made little to no impression on me, which is probably worse than anything ranked below this.

5.0 - 5.5

These dramas are just not great. The story lacks cohesion, the acting is uninspiring, and the chemistry is barely there. A lot of dramas that land in this category are dramas that I did not enjoy but I'm trying to break my habit of dropping dramas. So, they all end up here but there's not that many fortunately.

4.0 - 4.5

Boring. The acting isn't terrible and the plot isn't half bad either. These dramas typically commit the worst crime of all in Dramaland - they bored me!

2.0 - 3.5

Boring, confusing, horrible acting, nonsensical plot? Please, pick a struggle!

I have NEVER rated anything this low before. But if I do place a drama in this category someday, you can bet your bottom dollar that a long review will follow because ... HOW?
