We all do!!! Moonies here have been drooling over Deng Wei and the other MLs in LYF. LOL

But the thing is that AveX is unprofessional in her reviews. I am not a fan of YangZi, she is not the Reba or BL pretty, she is more your girl next door kinda cute, but I am ok to say she did a decent job in her FL role in LYF. I will not diss her or the drama for her apperance. I appreciate that Cdrama has a variety of different looks to cast as FL and not just cookie cutter looks like in Kdramas.

I think if her reviews made sense and was not just slamming our favourite dramas, it is still acceptable. For example, if she said Xixi's TTEOTM make up is way too much and too thick, but that was for covering up his injuries. I would have taken it. But she is just brutal to the dramas she does not like. Then she cannot call herself a reviewer is she is not objective. 😪

I think Xixi is under the category of handsome. 😍😍 She does not know what she is missing.

Anyways, reviews should be done objectively otherwise credibility will be eroded. We still have good old "Marcus Here" for reviews. He just popped up on my YouTube feed. LOL

I agree with her that there are scenes in TTEOTM that look like computer games. Like the first episode where the crossbow was like a giant laser with high tech aiming system and killed all the immortals at once. The guys in Star Trek may want in on that tech. LOL But that is not a good enough reason to diss TTEOTM. Just another take on how that demon crossbow worked. Why should that be such a big deal? She does not seem to have watched TTEOTM, else she would have mentioned Xixi's superb acting. Hmm...maybe she doesn't like Xixi? 🤔

I would say try a couple of episodes of LYF. The first episode of LYF gives some backstory, so bear with the kids. I was pleasantly surprised by Deng Wei (he is not perfect, but not bad for newbie) and Tan Jian Ci has also caught my eye. Those 2 guys are top picks among the Moonies here. 🥰😍 Yang Zi is not bad but she does not have the ethereal type of beauty. Overall I think this drama is watchable till the end. 👌

Only bummer is that there are more C regulations that have come on. S2 of LYF may only see the light of day next year 2024. *sighs* I think I will read the novel. 📖

I think my watching of LYF must have summoned her. 😆 She has nothing but good things to say about the drama and Yang Zi. Approves of Deng Wei and Tan Jian Ci (her fav). She said she likes the grounded look of the village with folks in those kind of earthy clothes and no sign of any white fluffy immortal clothes. Thinks it would be better if none of the men showed up to disrupt the FL's life. WHAT?! 🤦‍♀️ Without the disruptions, there will be no drama. This is what the story is about, woman. LOL She plans to watch all episodes across 2 seasons.

Looks like our TTEOTM was too cutting edge for her to give a good review. LOL

Just realised the rich boy suitor number 4 is the baby of the ML group at just 24 yo. LOL

Yes, that is one thing we are grateful to Youku for. They managed to rush TTEOTM out for us.

That's the challenge when it comes to seasons. Same for Witcher, I find that I have forgotten some of the things that happened in S1 and S2

I think as long as she knows she has done her best, it is good enough. She cannot control the mouths of various not so nice people in the industry.

Just saw the guys in the LYF page talking about it.

But I guess if S2 comes out in the end, there is still that chance to complete the story as it was meant to be. Our TTEOTM was a great drama, but it left us feeling incomplete. Characters development got slashed. We had questions about Ye Qing Yu & Pian Ran, even about Bitchang and XL v2. And of course did not get our family reunion for TTJ and LSS and daughter.

I guess for me, I do not mind waiting for a masterpiece. For each installment of LOTRs, for those of us who followed, we also waited a year between each. Totally worth waiting if it is a masterpiece imo.
