Because he just didn't want to live in revenge mode and with these words he was taking the power in the relationship. And with that he left to be happy. I found the scene too long but at the same time very necessary to make us understand that Sei is now ready to live for himself and that he freed himself from his golden cage.

He made everything about him and he still manipulated Sei so he would be dependant of him. So, I don't feel sorry for Fujisawa.

What a good drama! I loved it. I wished it was a bit longer but it was good nonetheless.
