So he was watching DVDs in 1992 (and earlier) when DVDs weren't a thing until 1995? #immersionruined😔/nsrs
That was VCD. Something more like a DVD but that was accessible in China (Taiwan, Hong Kong) before DVD (in Europe for exemple we went straight to DVD later and laserdisk were for rich people or people in the cinema industry. Laserdisk were much bigger, around 30cm.

the constant flash forwards and flashbacks are incredibly confusing i have no idea where their relationship stands…
That's the most used trope in dramas. And the most frustrating. Hurting the person but it was for their own good 😅
But I'm relieved it was the reason.

Title Bittersweet Love Spoiler
so basically after Xiao Fan got kicked out after the new bf came, he went back to Lu Xing's house and got a job…
And when was it when he asked him to help him because his mother was coming to town and put his pants down. Before his birthday or after? That's the only thing I didn't understand. When does it happen?

What do you advise me to do? I haven't watched it yet. Should I start now or wait until it's finished? 🤔
Wait if you can. It's frustrating to have to wait 1 week between every episode, so I would have prefered binging it.

Second half is a different vibe as it also goes with the deepening of their relationship. But there is a miscommunication trope so it can be annoying and frustrating. Don't worry, it's still good! Just a bit different.

Episode 3 was painful to watch. It's like a fanfic written by a 13 years old.
And now in every thai drama, the amount of surgery, fillers, nosejobs (I see at least one pig nose per drama), and lifting is crazy. Plus bad make-up and white washing skins. 🤨🫣
Nothing organic.

I wouldn't have guessed. I still think that he respects the fact that he was in love with someone else. At least in ep 7 or 8 he asked him where he stands with his love.

I was pretty sure about that as well, as soon as they interacted. Maybe it was because he was already in love with someone else and he didn't want to get between them?

15 episodes so far. Although I understand she's mad for what he did years ago, FL annoys me, she doesn't know anything about his life but she comes across very cheeky and disrespectful in my opinion. It's like she wants to show him his life is shit. I get why she's mad but a good conversation could help. I know their relationship is shifting but right now she gets a bit on my nerves.

The age gap is 16 months between them both. CY by SWL may look more mature but yes MJ is 16 and CY is 18.
When I asked this question she was 18 and 20 in the drama and I thought she acted much younger. At 18 you act like an adult but she acted like she was still 16.
And a grown up man can't pass for a 20 years old unfortunately. It's more difficult than for a woman. That's why the gap seemed bigger to me.
