You did well because I think around episode 12 it's even more dark, so there is no point to watch if it puts you down already. I personally loved the drama but it's true that it can be triggering.

I think the most triggering is around episode 12 for me. But by then we already know that one of them is crazy and obsessed. So if it's already too toxic for you in the first half. Stop watching. And he will pay for his wrong doing so it's a bit satisfying and also got sort of redemption. You talked about Revenged love and yes, it's really different. There is absolutely nothing funny in this one. Not one bit. It's dark and manipulative. But the chemistry is out of the place and the story is interesting. The actors are fantastic as well and make you feel for them. Even the crazy one 😅.

Yes it's a recurring problem on iQiyi. The number of times I had to go back 10 sec to catch the subtitle 😅 and it's with every language. Not only english. That's a pity 🤷‍♀️

For this drama I watch it on Viki because it's not on iQiyi in my region. But usually on iQiyi the subtitles are really quick to disappear and it's a pain to read.

I think we'll find out there is a reason later on. My guess is that it's his father's fault, probably making him do these stuff since youth. But so far, I don't pity him. Also, I don't think until last episode he really liked FL. Maybe he will from now but he totally used her. As a character he's interesting though.

Yes, I can't see how it can turn romantic. ML is awful and treats her like shit. I have insomnia and I'm watching at 4 am but it's just bad 😅
